Will you wear socks with holes in them?

I usually wear socks with holes in it when all my other good socks are all dirty. No one will see it anyway.

I have done once switched the sock when its right where my toe will be sticking out from. I was in a hurry and didn't have time to get other socks. I don't make a habit of doing that. I get a hole I usually sew them or depending on how bad the hole is toss them out. I just sometimes find it strange how the hole just appears out of no where.

If it's a small hole then yes, I'll still wear them. If it's not then I definitely wouldn't wear them.

No, it really bugs me for some reason to wear socks with holes in them. I do not know why. It is just something that annoys me to know it. The fact is it just feels wrong. I try to mend the sock if I can. If there's no way to mend it and there is no hope to fix it, then it gets tossed.

I see nothing wrong wearing socks with hole as long as you still need it and the hole is not in the area where other people can easily see. If you are still comfortable wearing it then wear it but if you feel like buying a new one then go for it.

That's a good idea to switch the socks so that it worn out another hole. I still wear the socks with holes, as long as the holes are still not too big. If the holes are too big, the socks will be deformed and it will be very uncomfortable to be in it. I will dispose the socks if I found that it's already in such condition.

Hi, macdingolinger. When I am at home, I will wear them. If the hole in the sock, does not interfere with me walking in them, I will wear them. I had a pair of socks like this last year. It had a hole in it on my feet part. And, I wore the sock until the sock wore out. The hole never expanded no matter how many times I washed the sock or how much I have worn them.

hey, mate! Actually No, definitely no! It's really disgusting. Imagine - you're visiting your girlfriend/boyfriend or just friends, and than you take shoes off... and .. blooop! That's bad. But I just checked my wardrobe. Found some socks with holes in them , gotta buy some new! Cheers!

Have you ever heard of a needle and thread? There is no r5reason to wear socks with holes. Darn the socks and they will be as good as new.

it does not matter for me as long as the socks still hide inside my shoes. no one can see it anyway, so why should i bother

Yes, I do. Would darn them as not to waste them. Then chuck 'em in the bin when I can't think of any other uses for them.

Only if it was the only clean pair. But that doesn't happen to me as I wash all my socks once a week and I have about 5 spare sets. A dozen pairs serves me well and when a hole develops they get tossed and replaced. Because I visit lots of people and here we take off our shoes when entering someone's home and it would be very embarrassing to me. After all I write on Mylot and I wouldn't want to bring shame to this great company. LOL
