I am turning 21 on March, and honestly, I have no idea how to drive. My father doesn't have the time to tutor me, and I don't have the time to go to driving school.
I think that I would be able to get my license after I graduate, finally, or worse, I'll never learn how to drive, ever!

I got it some weeks after I turned 18. Most of my friends tried to get it on their birthday, but when your birthday is in the autumn you have book the test well in advance. You can't take get a licence for motor bike after mid October, I didn't know that so I had to wait til the bikers had got theirs.
Last summer I got my drivers licence for a car with a trailer. I still can't drive backwards with one though, haven't practiced enough.
Good luck with the driving! Maybe you find some other relative that can help you?

i leanrt to drive when i was about 12/13 i think not sure, but we had the freedom of living on a farm. dad would let me drive the old ute, very slowly in about first gear. i wasn't fussed on driving back then, but when i turn 16 and could get my L's. i got my licence soon as i could. got my p's a yr later, got them late cause my dad rolled his ute i was going to take for the test and a driving lesson writing if off. so i had to take mums tank, (the land drover dual cab 130) passed first time round which was a good thing.
u want to try my best mate, she same age as me but didn't get her full driving licence till late last yr. her sister is about 24 and she got her soon as she could, just my mate never bothered about it. i kept at her.
just depends on how bad you need a licence.

i got it yesterday, and i am 19. but i have been driving for a while now, so i guess that was an advantage for me... maybe you should just take a little time and learn it, as this is like a basic necessity... you can't travel in public transport forever...

I got my driving license made when I was 20. My father and brother also didn't have time to teach me driving. I first bought a driving book and tried to learn. But no benefit from that. Then I requested one of my friends to teach me driving. He taught me driving and then I got my license made.

I got my driver's license when I was 17.
I waited slightly longer than some teenagers to get my license. However, I didn't want to wait too long to get it as I figured it would be a good idea to have it, just in case, even if I didn't get the chance to drive all the time. Because you just never know when it'll come in handy. I'm glad I did too because ever since I moved to the country years ago I always have to drive somewhere! LOL
My late maternal grandmother never learned how to drive. She either walked, took public transportation, or got a family member to drive her somewhere. It's just as well as she had no desire to learn anyway! LOL
Hopefully you'll be able to learn one day!
Good luck and happy mylotting!

Here we get a permit to drive with a lisenced driver in the car. We can take the test when we are 15.5 years old. That is a written test and then we take the driving test when we turn 16. That's when I got my permit and liscence. However, when I was like 12 years old my dad taught me to drive. I have been driving ever since!

i got my driving license when i was 17 years old. My father taught me how to drive before i participate in driving school. Therefore i was capable to drive smoothly in driving class. Eventually i managed to pass easily and get my driving license early. i remember that i drove to school everyday after got driving license.

HI! I have got my driver's license when i was 20 years old! Not because I came on age then, but just because I didn't have enough money to get it earlier! In my country the adult age is 18- so when you get 18 you can drink, you can stay at late outside, you can get driver's license, you can work! But for the driver's license I was very embarassed, because before that I have never driven a car!

I forgot the exact time when I got the driving license for the first time. Maybe when I was 18 or 19. I learned how to drive in driving school, but to master how to drive (not as a racer though) I use my father's car after I finished driving school. Still, I wrecked my father's car couple of times. Not a big wreck, but a wreck is still a wreck.
I think you should give some free time to attend driving school first, maybe twice a week if you don't have much time.

I am 19 and I've been taking driving lessons for a looong time already. Now I start to see some light in the end of the tunnel: I am getting close the examination and perhaps I'll get my license soon too. In our country there are very high demands on driving skills, so you have to know how to drive perfectly in order to pass the examination.

I got my degree the summer after I turned 16, since I wasn't able to take driver's education in school until the previous semester and then I had to wait for the forms that said I passed to show up. I didn't like waiting the two months after I turned 16 to get my license, so I have no clue how you could be waiting until you're 21 and still not know when you will be getting yours.

I am already 21 i don't have my license but i still drive car and bike both.I m just lazy to go to RTA office and make the license. My father is being asking me to make a license from last 3 yrs.if you wanna learn how to drive perfectly try it on your friends vehicles try best friend only.Driving school and all waste why to spend money on them. You should get a learners license first its easy to get that not that permanent license is difficult ot get if you know someone from RTA.which country are you from??.cause in my country i.e india there is no age i have kids of 15 yrs in my colony who have permanent license.
