Guys and Gals
I have this raving question in my mind: ARE COMPUTERS DESTROYING AND OVERSHADOWING THE ACTIVENESS AND DETERMINATION OF MANKIND??
Although I regard the computer to be a great invention, without which I would not be telling you this! The gadgets are reducing the toil and effort of man and we are becoming lazy nowadays!

Yes, with the computers and every person who uses it become lazy and lazier by the moment, because everything can be done fast with the computer and if they get the use to it they will not let it go anymore because it will be a part of their system, but humans still dominate computers because computers cannot act without a human commanding it.

i agree with you, man is becoming more and more lazy due to obsession with technology. thats why we have so many types of diseases today. obesity is number one problem. however i think technology is good or bad--it will be what we make it. i say we should take technology as a boon to mankind and not the opposite way.

I believe we are in the 'baby' stage of technology services. I worry too about what ills come with allowing ourselves to become dependant on technology. The main concern i have how much distruction will have to take place before limitations for applications are put into place. And for this there is also a solution, decide on limited usage as a personal rule. As for computers destroying and overshadowing activities, it is still a personal choice to make the best use, like using an Ipod for jogging as apposed to vegging out with headset in bed. Mankind still has the ultimate choice, and as long as we work for balance, and teach balance. I believe technology at it's finest can become a wonderful expression of how to save lifes and make life livible for many. Information, like too much information has always been a security and safety problem. You can use computers to promote exercise, and learn how to build things and comunicate with family. A whole generation of young people have grown up knowing how to use computers in their home. Just as a hole generation of young people grew up thinking nothing of having a color television set, a generation before them missed listening to sports on their radio at home before TV was invented. That generation worried that gangs and things like that came from watching too much TV. Perhaps your generation will one day find that it is all about finding the good, and expanding the possibilities of that.
Hope this helps.

yes we are becoming lazy ..technology is integrating into our lives as rapidly as ever. although i believe computers cant replace humans atleast not for another 20 years. AI is a tough area, requires the most skilled professionals in the field and is still in its infancy stage.
We cant blame the computers only for becoming lazy us. we should make it a point to keep ourselves healthy.
