Do you think it's okay when women abort their babies?

I wouldn't ever have an abortion. In pregnancy I love my baby and even if having him or her might kill me I would continue with my pregnancy. I wouldn't be able to do such a terrible thing to my own child. If I found out I was expecting a disabled baby I would let my child be born and hope that I could give him or her a happy life. If I was raped and I got pregnant I would probably adopt my baby rather than keep him or her after my pregnancy. No baby wants to be aborted. I think it is bad when a lady gets an abortion. I think that if her life is in danger I would understand her decision. I know some ladies are not willing to bring up a disabled baby. I found out that I have a disabled baby at 36 weeks pregnancy. I said no way to the abortion that was offered to me. He has spina bifida and hydrocephalus. He is going to celebrate his third birthday this year. Every baby should have the right to be born. Adoption is always an option.

Hey, ANIME123! Definitely no! It's murder, anyway it's murder. I don't understand why women's do this. If you don't want baby, just give it to children’s home. Absolutely not okay. Abortion is both a mortal sin in the laws of men and God. The abortionists will have their own time to suffer the negative consequences of their stupidity. The innocent baby is purely helpless, no feet to run, stenght to fight out and voice to shout stop! These people who don't have the heart and right brain after enjoying the call of lust will just flush it out? No way, they have to face the bitterness of their acts regardless of reasons behind, still it is wrong.

Yes of course with the right reasons, because abortions are dealing with human lives. It's good that the mother or the fetus. First check the conditions or the fetus and the mother, if according to the doctor's examination should be done, I think is does not matter if you have to have an abortion.

nop..its a big sin..it should be avoided at all.but when it is necessary as we can say the women would die if she gives birth than that is an exceptional case.otherwise its a murder.

Absolutely not, first of all, i have a simple question for those women who commits abbortion. Is life important for them? This question seems answerble by "yes" of all people around the globe. Who are not gives importance for it? Abbortion is a mortal sin, even they have the rights for their body they must not do it. Here are some of my own keypoints regarding with that. First of all, being a sin it is against the will of god.Also only God has the right to take away the lives of his creation. Second, if you are not ready for any responsibility why would you put yourself in a situation where you cannot take the consequences of it. Third, God has a reason for whatever happens to you.We know that he is the great creator. And lastly,life is the best thing that god given to us.We should cherist for it,and give importance for it.

Abortion is just another word for murder in my opinion. The unborn child has every bit as much right to live as does the child's mother. To kill an unborn child is a sin and is wrong. One day all of these women who have had abortions are going to have to stand before GOD and explain why they killed their own children.

abortion is a sin. women should not think of it as a solution to their problem. when you do that thing, you should be responsible enough for the consequences it will bring.

Hello, I love children... and I have two. they are wonderful people, but I dont want to have more kid. So I have to prevent it before everything is too late. I dont like that idea either... it is just killing people. But sometimes they dont have a choice and I dont understand why either

You know, If I were in that situation, I would choose to stay alive for several reasons. The first reason is that I will, hopefully, have another child. I would mother that child like never before. I would be a better mother and person because of what happened. I would also be a stronger person. Of course I would get depressed because of the loss, but the child hasn't entered the world yet and hasn't suffered. The second reason is that I wouldn't want my husband to go through the pain of losing me. I mean it would be bad to lose a child, but it would be a whole lot harder to lose someone that you have loved your whole life. Another thing though, many women abort their kids because they know they wont be able to take care of them, not that they don't want the child to get in the way. Some women (in my area though) they know that they wont be able to take care of their child. They know that they wont be able to provide them with food, shelter, or the necessities of life. So they choose not to give birth to the child so that the CHILD doesn't suffer. I will agree its not right. But it is the women's choice. If the doctor doesnt help her, she'll do it herself. It is morally wrong, but women weigh the pros and cons, and the cons usually when in that case.

As long as both the mother and father have discussed things through and it seems to be of benefit to everybody involved, I'm not really bothered. I mean, I love the sanctity of life and don't condone murder, but I don't necessarily disagree with abortion, especially if it will solve more problems than what a birth would cause.

Well it is a pretty sensitive issue and it would be really unfair to comment on it vaguely without considering the situation a particular woman is subjected to.Science has looked at child birth as a biological process of sustenance of life of a particular species.But socially,child birth means a lot more.It has got a divine feel attached to it and abortion means killing a life.Some people go on to the extent of comparing it to a murder and thus stating the act a crime.As far as I am concerned,that would be too extremist a view.There are certain situations,when a woman has to take the call of aborting her child.Sometimes for the sake of society as in the case of unmarried women and sometimes in the interest of their own survival.These are pretty solid reasons which could be justified to an extent.As long as abortion could be attributed to an unavoidable genuine cause,it should be allowed to take place.

If the reason of abortion is they just don't want to have a baby then it's considered bad, a sin. but it also depends on the situation if the life of the mother is in danger because of being pregnant and abortion is solution. Like ectopic pregnancy for instance.

I agree that it's a sad, sad thing. I can't condemn it because I will never be in that position myself. I think the best thing I can do is respect the women who have to go through such an awful thing by not judging them for it.

I personally do not agree with abortion. Although I do think women have the 'right' to abort their baby if they were raped. I think asking her to continue with the pregnancy have such a traumatic experience is cruel. And I also think a woman has the right to abort if the doctors believe that having the baby is lift threatening. Ask any husband/partner/boyfriend if he would rather save the child or save his wife/partner/girlfriend. He would say his wife. Its sad but a couple can always try for another baby. But I think the mothers life is the most important in those circumstances. If I was in that place Iwould abort. And while it would be incredibly difficult I would know that is the right choice. But other then those situations I do not beleive in abortion.
