Has anyone heard of WebAnswers.com?

It's a site that apparently pays you to answer questions on all sorts of subjects. I've come across sites like this before (such as chacha.com), but so far they've all just been for American citizens only. This one seems to be open to people from any country. I'm not sure how much they pay or if it's worth doing, but it looks interesting, and with that many topics it's likely that I wouldn't have a problem finding something to answer. http://www.webanswers.com/ I just wondered if anybody has tried this site before and what your experiences were. I'd like to check it's not a scam before spending any time there, and giving them my details etc... Thanks.

Webanswers only good at the start the more you make questions the greater chances of losing or get banned from your account. Webanswers just like any other site has advantages and disadvantages. Their are many shills in the site and they could not be trusted. Moderators sleep and even if they get awake they just deleted any accounts without further review. The power within them so anyone they dislike they just discard. So find other site worth spending your time. Webanswers is a big mistake, a scam in the making!!!

Hi liquorice..Thanks so much for the info about WebAnswers.com. What a great site it is. I have already signed up and answered about 6 questions. Its fun and easy and I'm real curious to see what kind of money can be made there. They really dont discuss money or what accepted answers pay so I guess I'll just have to wait and see. Anyway, I can see that its a place I'll be spending some time on..Great discussion..

Wow, you don't hang about, lol! Just to be clear, I wasn't actually recommending the site. I was just trying to find out about it. Seeing as you've taken the plunge, I hope that it's a legit site and that you get on well there - and that they pay you! Maybe you can be the myLot guinea pig on WebAnswers... I'm slightly put off by the fact that they don't discuss money or rules, they don't sound as if they're very open. How do you know you're doing things right? And of course if rules aren't written down then that leaves them room to alter them whenever they choose. Although maybe once you've answered the initial 10 questions they tell you a lot more(?) Even though myLot doesn't tell us exactly how we're paid here, they at least give us lots of guidance on what's expected, and admit that they have an earnings algorithm (albeit a secret one!) Anyway, I'm glad that you seem to be enjoying it so far, and good luck! Although I'm feeling pangs of guilt now for possibly leading people to stray from myLot... Not my intention. myLot is great!!!

Sorry, I just saw your response! I'm really glad that it's working out for you there. I haven't had time to join yet, but your answer has made me think that when I get a chance it might be a good thing to do. Thanks for coming back and telling me how you're doing. It's great that you're able to specialise in a topic that you love, and know so much about! Good luck with it, might see you there before too long...

Hi sulsisels, I just joined webanswers (finally, lol!), but it turns out that they've changed the rules since I started this discussion. You now need to get 10 best responses before you're eligible to be paid, instead of 2. This is a bit annoying, as it's going to take a bit longer to start earning there. So far I've answered 17 questions and received 2 "awarded answers", as it's now called. Hopefully I'll get there before too long though. I've been enjoying the time I've spent answering questions, and I like the fact that there are so many categories and hopefully will continue there. Are you still using the site? How's it going?

Hi, liquorice. I have never heard of this site. If you want more information on this. You can do an search on the Internet about its credibility. That way you can find out if this is an scam and if they have any payment proofs or not. I hope that you find out what you need about this website.

i am also a member of that site and it seem unstable with many members who recently join are get banned without valid reason given. not a good source of lifetime earning. anyone could get their account deleted and you would be left with many questions n your mind left unanswered. the admin is a a total snob.

No problem. I just wanted to update seeing as I've actually joined there now! I'm glad that you're doing well there, and that I prompted you to go back to it. I'm trying to get approved awards so that I can start earning there. Think it might be a slow process as lots of the question askers don't seem to come back to choose a best answer! Will keep on trying though.

Hello! Glad that even though this post is old you came by and posted! Thank you for the update. I have not been on there in the last month or two but have done it a lot more since I made the $3.30 - I think so far I have made 12.50 or close to that with the site! You posting this makes me remember I need to get back on there! Thanks and Happy Mylotting!
