I just watched this great show called the Buried Life on MTV. it's about this four young guys who have this list of things they want to do before they die. As they cross off one thing on their list, they try and do something nice for someone else on their list. I thought what a great idea. I would love to be able to do something like this.
If i had 24 hours to live what would i want to do? that's a great question. I would want to spend it with my children. I would want to do every thing i always wanted to do with them but "didn't have the time" to do. I would want to make sure that every moment together we would be laughing and laughing. then that very last hour would be spent making love to my hubby....
What would you want to do if you had 24 hours to live? what is the one thing on your list that you would like to cross off?

When people know their lives will shortly be over, everything changes. People do not cross things off of their list, etc. Things of which we wouldn't normally dream, suddenly become top priority. Things we always wanted to do are completely forgotten. Things we never thought of before, suddenly come to the fore front to be acted on immediately. No one has any idea before the deadline, what they will suddenly deem important after reaching the deadline. God Help America!

I would make sure I was somewhere beautiful, warm, with the sound of the waves crashing around me on a gorgeous beach. The Maldives springs to mind (or anywhere exotic) I'm not fussed lol! I know it's selfish but 24 hours isn't a long time to get everything done (for me anyway). I would also make sure that hubby was in the shade because he has red hair and can sunburn very easily.

I'm not a young woman any longer but I caught the first episode and I loved it. The intriguing part was not just that they created a list of things that they wanted to do but that they were also thoughtful enough to do something nice for others along the way. If I knew that I had 24 hours to live, I would bundle my family up and go to the beach. It's my favorite place. I would want to see the sun come up one more time and see the sun set over the water one last time. If I had a little bit longer than 24 hours, I would fly to Europe and spend my last days in Italy on the Amalfi coast.

It did my heart good to see that these young men would think of people other than themselves. We could all do so much more and things like this inspire me to do so.

If I came to know that I had only 24 hours to live I definitely go to my girl friend and ask her to marry me so that even for one day we could stay together as husband and wife. That's enough for me and love that thought because I will get a chance to marry my girl friend which is very difficult in case if I live for longer time.

This is a good question. I have so many things that I
would want to do I would really have to sit down and give
it some thought because I don't think I could do all of them within
24 hours it would be impossible! I know I want to see the whole world
all cities all countries just the whole wide world except for those places
that are extremely dangerous and war driven now I would have to cross those places
out! The first I want to go to is Mexico every where every little city there is to
see there. Then places like Africa, Asia, China, Just all over the land even Sweden
and all! I think if any one could do all that in 24 hours it would be a miracle!I
only wish I could!

Wow. What a great question. I knew my response before reading yours and it sounded the same. I would definitely want to spend it with my children as well. If I didn't have any children, I would probebly want to do the most wildest, and craziest things I could think of. But, being that I have my children, they are the most important thing to me and I would no doubt spend it with them. I would ask each of them what they wanted to do and do whatever they wanted.

i would spend the rest of my day with my family then eat all the delicious food. after then, go out to spend some solemn prayer asking the almighty God to cancel the end of the world. since not all people are sinful and it is a pity even the innocents is not exemptde when the end comes short of glory..

I would spend the rest of the day with my loved ones. i would make them happy. I would tell jokes. I would laugh my heart out. i would cry until tears are gone forever. I would be thanking God for giving me the time of my life. I would be playing with my little nephews and niece. I would be eating mom's cooking...

If I have only 24 hours left what I would do is to thank my parents for their love of me, buy some coke and drink a liter of it, never message any girls I've known before (since they hate me and they'd been thanking that I'm gone), prepare my deathbed, thank God for a wonderful life, and finally to eat my favorite food. But if I wont die the list goes on.

I would do the same spend it with my family. I would like to spend some of the time writing letters to my youngest daughter and grand kids about all the things they will be going through as they grow up, becoming a teenage, special birthdays 18th 21st,falling in love, learning to drive, getting married, becoming parents and all the wonderful things they will do and see.
To my eldest daughter i would tell her how proud i am of her and her family and what a privilege it has been to have her in my life.
Then i would take hundreds of photos of us all for them to remember me by as i hate having photos of myself taken which is a little selfish of me.
I would give back all the things i have borrowed and forgotten to give back to friends with a note to say sorry and how much it ment to me they allowed me to be part of there lives.
Last but no means least my husband i would fall asleep in his arms he is the last person i would want to see before i went to sleep.

I'd want to spend a lot of time with my husband, and go to all of the places around here that I love. I'd want to go to my favourite Danish restaurant for one more really nice dinner, to my favourite cafe for one more mocha latte, and just spend the day doing all of the things that I enjoy.

I would spend it with my husband, my cats and my parents and brother, just being there with them and hugging and laughing and talking. I would let them know the love that I have for them, even though I tell them almost every day. I would do something crazy like sky dive!

I am reminded of the man that was told that he had 24 hours to live. He withdrew all his money from the bank and invited everyone that he knew to a huge party. A great time was had by all but he noticed that about midnight people were starting to leave. "Why are you going?" he cried. "It's alright for you" they said. Some of us have to get up in the morning"!!
