Most people loves texting messages. I am having the habit of keeping some messages saved in my mobile. Do you have such habit? It might be a message sent by your lovable one or message for some future reference. Message I am having is few happy birthday messages sent by friends. What about you?

I've got a few happy birthday messages too, it's nice to have them but I won't stress if they get lost. If you have something you'd really like to keep you could load them on a second sim card, phone or your computer. Then you'd be sure they wouldn't get lost if something happened to your phone.

I have some messages on my phone but this are mostly for business concerns. Most of it contains contacts and information on important matters. I do keep them but I also have a copy of them on my laptop. It is very easy for me to copy everything since my phone when connected to my laptop will synchronized everything. So all of my important messages as well as newly added numbers will be copied automatically.

I used to keep the texting messages from my BF when we felt in love with each other two years ago, and I often read them when I am happy or unhappy. Unfortunately I lost my cellphone last year and all the messages are gone. From that time on I don't care about the messages in the phone.

Hi, avimra. Yes. I do keep the text messages saved in my food. Especially if it is an very important message that my husband sent me. If it is an text message for someone that used to had my number before, then I will delete this message. If it is an threatening message then I will hold onto it and I will contact law enforcement.

My daughter and I do text once in awhile, but not as much as we sued to, so I don't keep any text messages from her, unless I need a message to do something, and then I end up eventually deleting it too. when we would text, it would be so much, that it would have been almost impossible to keep any of them, as there would be well over 200 of them, and that is way to many to go through. I do like text messaging though, but I really don't do it all that much anymore, so I doubt if I will ever end up keeping any messages. Take care, and happy mylotting.

Yes, I do. Especially the ones from my hubby when we started going out. When there is a sweet quote or a sweet message that was sent to me, I definitely leave that on my inbox. On the phone where I left the messages on have around 20 messages. And whenever I get to read them I still have that tingling feeling on me.

Nope. I delete my message inbox regularly because I never see the point in keeping them. I mean, I won't bother going back to read them in the future because if it was a particularly memorable text, I'll have it in my memories anyway. Plus, it prevents any risk of prying eyes reading stuff they shouldn't

I also keep some massage in my mobile phone. Because i don't like to write any text massage as i feel so trouble for typing a massage. That's why when i got any massage from my friend then i don't delete just keep in the inbox and when need to send somebody then i send it only.

I don't have a text-message i'm saving in my phone though i think i know why people do this. In my opinion, people do this becuase they want to keep a special memory saved forever or want to lighten there mood by looking at something nice or positive which has happened in there life.

I only keep text messages about important information like dates, happenings etc. and I keep them for a maximum of 3 months. As for the forward sms I don't have the hobby to keep them and I usually use my phone for emergency purposes only. I check my inbox and clear unnecessary information monthly. This help me in having extra storage for new sms since I really don't have a large memory for my phone.

i keep a lot of messages in a separate folder.... usually these are the messages which i find really funny/inspiring.... but there are a few messages from my friends, that i keep , which keeps me going during times of self-doubt.... i think during crisis , we tend to do things in an unususal manner... and these have helped me on more than one occasion....

I go on and keep them in my phone until they automatically gets erased over. Every blue moon I'll take a trip down memory lane to look at various text messages. Some people probably find it an annoyance to keep old messages in their phone that long, but I guess it dosen't really bother me that much.
