i have just recently purchased a new computer, an emachine running windows 7, i have to say i really didnt like the windows 7 layout at first due to the fact that i was transitioning for windows xp. after a few days of tinkering i got used to the layout and was surprised how easy it was to use. i found a few cool features that make working on some projects extremely easy, the only annoyance with the new system is that some software programs aren't yet compatible with windows 7, but this will be fixed in time. what are your thoughts on windows 7 and have you discovered any cool little tricks to make some tasks go faster
some windows 7 tricks i have learned:
multi-task:drag a minimized window to the side of the screen, and drag another one to the opposite side, each window will expand to fill half of the screen, making multi tasking easy
quick minimize: if your screens looking a bit crowded just grab the top of the window you want to see and shake it back and forth a few times, this will minimize all other windows except the one you shook.

windows 7 is a great operating system and very stable i must say. it has got plenty of customizable features. after the failure of vista, i think microsoft has got back on track with the release of windows 7. also directx 11 is a boon for gamers who like to extract that extra juice from their pc

Well the desktop screen saver is awesome. I have read you can make it have music playing but not sure how yet.
Also if you have a lot of desktop shortcuts go get a program called fences. You can organize your screen to where everything you need is hidden in a scroll fence.
