I was a huge fan for TV series when i was a student. However since i start my first job i seldom watch TV and begin to feel that following TV series is a kind of wasting time . What about you ? Do you like or not ?

I have a problem actually sitting down every week at the same time, to watch a show. It isn't practical for me to drop everything many times a week to watch a TV show. However, I don't let this stop me. I rent the TV series that I like. They make them available to rent a year after the show originally airs. For instance, the TV show Supernatural. It is currently airing its fifth season on the CW channel. However, I am renting season four from Netflix.com. So I can watch it at my discretion, and it doesn't bother me that I'm a year behind, because eventually I will catch up.

We don't have to rent TV series now because we can watch any TV programme on computer . We don't have to wait every day before TV for each series . We can watch many series for long hours as we want by our computer.

i like tv shows as it brings refreshment to the whole days hard work and tv means resting time. but i do believe that watching shows everyday especially the daily soaps are a time wasting stuff, its better according to me to watch a movie other than watching programs daily.

Talking about movies it's a pity that i still get no chance to watch Avatar so far because i have to take after my little kid at home at night. Avatar is really hot now in China but the ticket is really expensive for most of us .

There are a couple of shows that I like watching, though I can't seem to watch them when they actually give. I record them and watch them when I can, or get the DVD, the fun thing about this is that when I have time I can watch 2 parters immediately after each other this way I don't have to wait. I have the TV on when doing something, be it excercise, cleaning, ironing(normally music) rarely just doing one thing, so for me it doesn't feel like a waste of time.

I don't have time also to watch TV in long hours. What I do, if there are long weekends that's the only time I watch TV series in DVDs. My favorite TV Series are CSI: Las Vegas and Gossip Girls. I just enjoy solving crimes in CSI and make me analyze too with the story. Meanwhile in Gossip Girls, I just see how they look, I just love their fashion..

Interesting indeed. I heard of these two TV series but i haven't watched them so far. I don't think i like any TV series with crimes which will make me terrified .

Hi Grace, Except for evening news, I hardly follow any TV shows. But I do have one show that makes me sad when I miss it, and that's American Idol. I always look forward to each season and I'm just happy that it's here again, in it's Season 9. Despite changes in the show(first Paula Abdul left, then Simon will be leaving as well after this season), I still love watching it no matter what.

Hi grace!^^ I used to watch a lot of television series before. I still watch some but only a few but I don't regularly follow the show everyday. This was because I used to have a lot of free time so I can watch a lot of shows regularly. But ever since I started working, I got so busy and I was working far from home so I couldn't go home early just to watch my favorite television shows. So as time went, I forgot the schedules of my favorite shows until I am no longer watching them. I hardly watch television anymore except for some occasional glances when there is news. But I still watch some of my favorite shows but I download them from the internet or buy a dvd so I can watch them during my free time on weekends.

I used to watch E.R. Regularly. The other show I watched was Battle Star Gallactica . Both of those are off the air now. I haven't found another yet that I want to follow.

hi grace118224! Oh yes! I do follow a couple of tv series, my favorite are Glee and Gossip Girls. Before, I used to watch Kyle XY, Samantha Who, Will and Grace, One Three Hill and a lot more. Some of them are gone (had their final season) while I lose interest on others. I like some of it because it's entertaining and it gives me an excitement to watch the next episode or season. I don't see it as a waste of time because I only choose what tv series to follow and that is the ones that made me laugh, cry and happy. Happy Lotting!

I used to follow a couple shows, but these days I have just kind of lost interest and lost the free time to do it. When it first came out, I was a huge fan of America's Next Top Model. I also used to follow a couple of anime series. Now I'm more into comedy shows, like The Office and 30 Rock. They don't really have plots or anything you need to know to understand them so its fun to catch an episode every now and then.
