Best Mafia/Gang Movies

Goodfellas comes to mind when I think of these, although I haven't seen it (although I've heard great things about it!) Otherwise, this newer movie called Four Brothers! You should check both of them out and let me know what you think!

Let's be honest. The Godfather movies and Goodfellas are pretty much going to lead the way in the Mafia movies in this discussion lol. I haven't seen either to be honest but I have heard a lot of good things about them so they must be pretty good. The only gang movie I know about is a movie called The Warriors. It seems like an interesting movie.

Well I would say The Godfather trilogy are the best mafia movies nearly matched by Goodfellas which gives a different look at the life of a gangster. Other's worth checking out would be "Gotti" and also "The Scicillian" both good gangster movies. Another good one but more of a mob movie would be "Road to Perdition".

Godfather. It's something like original of mafia. I like it!

I've always loved Prizzi's Honor. The movie is based on a book by Richard Condon. It's a great 80's Mafia movie. I love Jack Nicholson in that movie. He tried to act cool but underneath all that coolness, he's just a vicious mafia hitman. Watch it and be amazed at the twist at the end of the movie.

i love mafia films , i remember scorsese's films the best!!! Good fellas ! :) i remember that movie is really old film .. And my favorite mafia tv show or serie tv is "the sopranos" You should watch the sopranos and good fellas :) similar actors !

You can't discuss Mafia movies without mentioning the Godfather films. I'd recommend all of them, in order of course. Another very good movie which I just finally watched recently was "The Departed". That's full of amazing performances by an incredible cast. There are others but right now my mind has gone blank! Annie
