Do you think maine and tail shampoo makes your hair grow faster?

Hair grows at a fairly constant rate, without factoring in baldness or some kind of ailment. Mane & tail shampoo won't act like a fertilizer for your hair. What it may do is strengthen your hair so you'll get less breakage and fewer split ends. I've known women that have used it and they swear by it. While your hair may not technically grow faster you'll probably get better, longer lasting, results. If you like that, try udder balm, or udder cream for your hands & feet, especially in the winter time if you're prone to dry skin. You can find it right next to the shampoo in your local tack shop:)

Make your hair fuller, yes. But make your hair grow faster, I don't think so. I've tried the product a couple years back, it still grow the same rate as I you use ordinary shampoos. What I've noticed was it made my hair grow thick and fuller, which is nice also. A secret trick to make your hair grow faster is to eat plenty of protiens. Try adding Tuna in your diet, because it is reach in protien. Plus, try to pay a visit at the Salon have your hair a little trim. Yes, its sound absurd but cutting your hair once in a while really makes your hair grow faster...

I say just taking good care of your hair is the best way to make it grow. There isn't a magic shampoo that I have found that makes your hair grow. However, the Mane and Tail shampoos are a good product to use for healthy hair.

Well in my opinion I think the best thing to do if you want to see your hair grow out long is to take the hair and nail vitamins. Also get a very good shampoo and keep your hair clean and moisturized. I don't think too much of that maine and tail shampoo. It sounds like it's something that's made for a horse. Is this true? Good luck with growing ur hair out. A Good diet would be very beneficial to your cause.

I have tried this shampoo before and it really does work! My hair grows so very very slow and I was recommended this Shampoo and Conditioner and not only does it help your hair grow it will help with any damage of your hair you have. It is worth the money and it really doesn't cost too much depending on where you buy it, but I have yto say it is well worht the money!! And Good Luck!!!

No it is not true for long hair use shikekai In the night Use pure coconut oil Aplly to hair and in the morning wash the hair with Shikeakai Dont take Tension. be happy

I couldn't say for sure but I can tell you that unless I had great growing hair it did help me. It was about 13 years ago that I asked my mom to trim my hair. She is a hair dresser and I really did know better but I was in a mood and she'd been wanting to cut my hair. I wear my hair long...always. Of course she cut it way way way too short and I was devastated. Oh well...hair grows back..right? Well it was taking a bit too long. Some lady recommended Mane and Tail to me. At the time it was pretty cheap because it was mainly used for horses. I think I paid 3.99 for a huge bottle of it. It really did seem to help my hair grow out quicker. Maybe it was all in my head...not sure but it really did seem to help. What have you got to lose?

Hello there! I think it is true that Mane n tail shampoo can make hair grow faster. It is because others have found out that it can be used as treatment for baldness and to avoid hair loss. Some slightly bald men used it and it helped them to restore their lost hair. I don't know who discovered that the horse shampoo can be used for curing hair loss but I guess, he has a pet horse. Since horses have strong hair and the shampoo they use has no harmful chemicals, it is concluded that it can be used by people, especially those with problems on hair loss and to make hair grow faster. I dont know if maine and tail is effective in making the hair grow faster but it is proven to make hair more thick and strong. My father use it regularly and it really prevent his baldness.

Hello. I have used that shampoo in the past several times. I used to swear on it. I have really long hair, but it isn't because of that shampoo or conditioner. My sister used to think that it did make her nails grow. Some benefits of it are that it does make your hair stronger, shinier and more manageable. Let me clarify manageable, I have long thick hair and the conditioner is the only one I have ever found that gets the tangles out which is huge. Despite some of the benefits of using it there was another drawback that appeared later on after using it, which is that my hair would start becoming very oily. So, it is worth a try. I do love it and think it is a good shampoo and conditioner, but it does have it problems.
