Fantasies are good,they keep us going sometimes when we feel down ,esp when it is about money,most times when i am skint,i ll try to cheer myself up by fantasizing about how i wud spend a million USD if i really had it..usually in all frankness, it is selfish indulgence,who are we kidding,there are those among us who say ,they give bulk of it to the dearest charity to their heart or do some good and make a change ,so noble is the thoughts,facetious,but as for me ,well yes maybe i ll give some to some cause i deem i may be able to alleviate financially a little,but a lot of the fantasy will be on buying like a superbike and use it to cruise around S.E asia, then gettin a sports car as a toy,world travel,investing in a business.maybe can generate another million.Oh ,yea of course,allocate a portion of it to a charity of some sort, give some away to dear realtives..etc..
Can money really buy happiness..maybe yes,maybe no, but one thing i m sure off,it is not goin to depress me if i had a million dollars to spend..!

haha,your last sentence is really cool,money maybe not make me happy but definitely take you away from the depression.
i don't know whether i'm a wired person,I am not that into the money thing.I am not the rich guy,but ai least i'm not worried about the living thing.I admit we can't live without the money ,but the huge million dollars acturly cheer me up a lot,'cause right now my biggers dream is travlling aroud the world ,and i have alreadly worked for it.
if i do have the huge money,maybe i will spend a lot time to think about how to spend it properly.it's really not my type.

Ya know what,i happen to share some of your sentiments, i like to do stuff that enables me gratification and i m of the school of thought that money is secondary,i am not very rich,living hand to mouth at times,being a scuba instructor,i travel a lot,mainly island hopping and i love my profession,so i dont dwell too much on earning a lot of money but believe that if you enjoy what you do,you ll be good at it and money though secondary in importantce will justify your passion.

Fantasies are wonderful (as long as we don't get too much into it). If I had a million dollars, I would buy a big house and get me and my family comfortably situated and never have to worry about our current financial woes ever again. I would still finish school and get a job but it would be a job I have fun doing and not only for the money. Yes, sounds wonderful

Million dollars would make me selfish eventhough I had a little thought towards charity or some noble cause. Infact, possessing a million dollars is a dream come true to me. If I really had it, then would i think what to do. Deposit some amount for myself and my dear ones. Invest in some business which might prove profitable.
some amount to be spent as donation to God for giving me so much of huge amount overnight, spend some amount for world tours and travels etc etc. and the rest of the amounts, Let me think before I tell you what to do with that amount. So Let myself think...............?

If I had lawful, 1 million dollars, I'll clear out any debt I have with anybody I have a debt with, financially. Then I'll spend some to upgrade my life (house, furniture) and I'll set aside some to buy houses to rent. Then I'll go to pilgrimage with my parents, and settling the pilgrimage of my deceased relatives. some will be If there's any left, I would invest it somewhere so that It would grow, and whenever they are people are in need of the money, they can ask me for it.

If I had a million dollars I am going to buy myself 1 dozen of shoes. =) I will go to Korea and meet my students. I will put up a business and send my nephews and nieces to school until they finish college. I am going to buy my dad a bmw and I am going to buy my mom the most expensive lipstick because she's really fond of that. I am going to buy my husband a video card for his computer and I am going to buy a house, not a big one but somewhere near the beach. (sigh)

If i had a million dollars, i would start with a big trip to my favorite places and countries, invest in my career of musician, buy the all bookstore, reform my wardrobe, help my mother and her trade, buy new instruments, i would give away some money too, and... wow, there's so many things we can do with a million dollars! Infinite things! And dream is really very good, but i don't know... with so much money, the life would be too easy, so... I'm happy with I have.

well, i definitely will put some of the money in the bank, invest some of them in properties, give some of them to the needy and charity and the rest will go to my family and my parents... i want to take my parents to travel around the world so that they can enjoy themselves in their old ages... that will be my dream if i have a million dollars... take care and have a nice day...

I would pay off my computers, and invest in savings. I would also go on the honeymoon I never got to go on. I would go back to school too full time and quit my job to complete it.

if i had that sort of money, i'd be paying out my bills, buying a new car. putting some away in trust find for my son, so it can grow. maybe buy a place, but what i want costs a fair bit already set up. but i'll settle for finding the right place and build on it slowly.
i think money can buy some happiness, when you do things you should with it to take your stress away like all the bills paid and up to date. learn from other mistakes you've made with money.

If I had a million dollars, I would put half of it to the bank then the rest i'd spend to buy a condominium unit, sports car, franchise business like mango and zara, etc. I would also travel with my family and see beautiful places we haven't seen before... Then i would donate to church and charitable institutions and send some deserving kids to school. A million dollars can do a lot of things. It may not give you the real happiness you deserve but at least it can help you forget your problems/worries somehow.

If I have a million dollar, I will invest 75% of it and I the other 25% will be used for starting a small business. My goal in life is to meet the situation where your money is the one who will work for you so that I can spend my time to my family. I will always give 10% of my income to the church so that they can use it for evangelism purposes.

wah i love this debate . these kind of discussion are sometimes good when u go through tough period . Money is real motivating factor and coming back t discussion on if i have million dollars i would first settle of my debts . i would buy a posh house in chennai , would invest in market and do some investment . I would also spend some2 % of money on charity work . All said and then i want to know when will that lucky day come
