I'm not used to watch movie alone. I'm always with my friends or my family. But I tried it once when I was in bad mood. After that I realized that watching movie alone is not really okay...its sad. How about you? I'm talking about going to movie theater not the online movies, just to clarify.

Hi I like to watch movies with my friends but watching alone is not a problem to me. I am also a loner type of person and I also enjoy watching movies alone with my laptop. The last movie that I watch is the AVATAR. It's so nice.

It is not sad. To me it is no worse, than watching television by yourself. If you wanted to see it, you wanted to see it. Yes, most do not go alone, but I would be fine doing it. Plus you have the chance to always meet someone you might know and watch it with them.

yeah, i agree with you wickedlove. I sometimes go to the movies by myself when i really want to watch a movie. the only setback is that if you get too excited or you missed out on a particular line, you have no one to ask. and if the scene gets hilarious, i think its a little awkward to laugh out loud by yourself, isn't it? Lol! =)

You are right jay213, I experienced that... I had no one to ask the line I missed out but laughing loudly alone doesn't matter as long as others laughing too..haha

When I was young in my teeners I usually go to movies alone. I am used to doing that since I really have many friends. But, now that I am married, I always bring along my wife and sometimes with my son. I do not watch alone anymore.

I can not go to the movies at the theaters by myself. Going with one person will suffice. If I can't find anyone that wants to see a movie I do, sometimes I can convince my sister. But if not, I just don't go...and I have to wait until it comes out on DVD--and I can get it on Netflix.

I guess I should add that when I see someone at the theaters alone I never judge them negatively. I sympathize a little, I know how uncomfortable they must feel. but I never think ....ew, they're alone. There must be something wrong with them! lol

I built a 6 channel sound system in my room, so I don't need to go to the theater. besides, too many punks and idiots in there to enjoy the movie. my system is not the theater of course, but I can watch terminator, matrix, etc. as loud as I want, when I want; and thats all that matters to me. and I don't have to pay $5.00 to $6.00 for a medium to large soda! nonsense!

i hardly go to the cinema and i don't really like to watch movies at the cinemas as they are too many distractions and it is expensive... i prefer to watch movies from home through my computer or DVDs... it is much cheaper and more relaxing and i can enjoy myself thoroughly... take care and have a nice day...

I can easily watch movies alone. I don't think that it's sad at all. Yes, I will admit that it is fun to watch movies with family and friends. However, I also enjoy watching movies alone. Whether I watch a movie alone or not, it's not much of an issue for me. I don't have a problem with either. It's just like watching television alone. There are much sadder things than watching a movie or television alone.

I've never ever tried watching movies alone. Most of my friends have tried doing so, but I'm not really used to being alone. Every time I watch a movie, I'm with my friends or my family, too. Some of my friends say watching movies alone can be a bit therapeutic, but I haven't tried it, so I can't really agree to that.

I've never gone to the theater alone, but I'm not opposed to it. There are movies that I want to see that no one else does, and if I have the opportunity, I will go to see it. I watch a lot of movies at home alone, though. I don't have a problem with it.

I don't watch movies alone, definitely! Its scary cause you might encounter some dangerous maniac people who'll take advantage of you in the dark theater atmosphere. Besides, its so much lovelier to have someone with you going to the movies.

I have never tried it and I'm too scared to try. I'm afraid someone will sit near me and take advantage of the fact that I am alone. I have friends who have tried this but only during the daytime where there are not too many people in the movie theater. So far, no one has taken advantage of them. Still, I don't want to risk trying. Besides, it's much more fun to watch movies with family and friends.

We can watch movies at home sitting alone in dvd's or online but to the theater it is not possible to sit and watch alone according to me. U can but the experience by going with everybody and going alone is completely different. Even a boring film would help you make a great time with your companions but going alone will not do that. The fun and joy got through it is great and can't be expressed through words. When I was doing my engineering graduate we used to go to movies at the last day of the exam for every semesters. The movie will be boring but the time and relaxation we get from it is not equal to anything.

I have learned to do many things alone. I live a lone and kind of like it. I can get upset around a lot of people. I watch movies a lone, it does not bother me to do this. I do have people to talk about the movies to. Happy posting.

I haven't watched a movie with someone else in ages. I always watch them alone. Why would having someone else sitting in the seat next to me, make any difference to the quality of the film? A bad film is still bad even if you are there with dozens of others. A good movie is still good, even if you are the only one in the theater. I can't even guess how having someone with me would be of any value. But to each his own, I suppose.

Yes, I often watch movies on myself. Not at the cinema mind, because they are designed to be enjoyed with company such as friends. I prefer watching a film by myself at home, because you can watch it undistured, can stop, rewind and fast-forward it without upsetting anybody, and you don't have anybody trying to spark up idle conversation every five minutes

As far as I am concenred, I usually watch movies alone which I think I still can enjoy the movies ao much. Frankly speaking , I do not want to watch the movies alone. I want to some one can be companied. But always no one can be here. Sometimes, I was so upset about this situation. I dream some day there will be a girl can companied by my side.

I'm sorry to say this but i do not agree with you. I watch alone movies all the time and is not so bad. Of course, it could be better watching a movie with your friends but then comes the problem of tastes" someone may like comedies, others dramas and so on. I think it's better to watch alone what you like instead of trying to persuade others to watch the movie you want.

no and i don't plan to. I think it's not a nice feeling watching alone. it will be more enjoyable laughing with someone right? and when you feel like commenting on something from the movie, who are you supposed to talk to right then and there?
