How many of you belive in the end of the world resumed in a single day?Is it going to rain with fire? The oceans will cover each piece of dry land ?
The end of the world or the end of the human rase?Because ,after all,George Carlin was right:the planet existence(4.5bilion years) compared with our existence(200.000years)is something to think about. The planet will still be here after this end of the world. This is what I belive.
Im curious how other myloters see this "end of the world"(without biblical quotes)
I haven't read the whole Bible but i belive there's an "end of the world" scenario established by God....for us.Im wondering what do you belive?

I don't believe that the world is going to end in one day. "Rain of fire" seems blown out of proportion or may allude at some explosion. Maybe something bigger than earth could collide and therefore might cause major destruction. It is a possibility but I don't know if that will happen any time soon and in this timeline/universe. I am a spiritual person but not religious. In my opinion, religion is confining and there are good things and bad things about it. So restricting myself to religion and believing in all that is said doesn't work for me. I do agree that science is nascent and doesn't cover all aspects and areas. If this world ends, we would be existing somewhere else and also maybe in some other form. At the end of the day, I do think that we are only looking within and projecting it outwards.

Concerning supposed facts from scientists – a lot of what they report will have a slant to their reports, according to where they are spiritually. Many of them report from an atheistic view point.
According to what I’ve studied in the Bible, the world itself will never end, but will be “cleansed” by fire. There will one day, be a ‘new’ heaven and a new earth, where there will once again be ‘no sin.’ That boggles the human mind, but how wonderful to live on a planet where there’s no crime of any kind!
Just my nickle’s worth on the subject.
P.S. But there “is” a major war coming, where many nations will gather together to take Israel out, and that’s when God Himself will intervene. It was told about thousands of years ago in the Old Testament book of Ezekiel.

Yes I do think that science is sometimes biased and the scientists don't have tools or enough information and it happens more often that a conclusion is drawn on the basis of speculation, assumption and extrapolation.
I believe in multiple possibilities and if you ignore the time dimension for sometime, things happen simultaneously and in parallel. So even if scriptures predict something is going to happen, it is a possibility that would occur or be created by people because they believe in it and have projected it outwards. I am not an atheist, I am discussing this from a spiritual point of view. And there are also scientists who are spiritual too. And two opposite and conflicting ideas can be true at the same time. What we have at hand to judge using our consciousness is relative truth more than absolute truth.

Let me just say until very recently, I had an unshakable faith in science. I believed every single thing that most people also take for granted. Now, I'm seeing things a good bit differently. I discovered a pastor of a church in Niagra Falls that opened my eyes completely! He breaks everything down on a scientific level and shows that much of the science we are taught is junk science and is NOT backed up by facts. You should definitely check him out! He posts his sermons every week on youtube. They are not at all boring! They are kind of like watching the history channel, science channel and discovery all in one. This link here will take you to one of his lectures about a evidence for a young creation. There are plenty more to see if you type in "evidence for a young creation" on his home page search bar. Also I really like the one about "evidence for a gargantuan creation". It'll blow your mind!
Link for one of his "Evidence for a young creation" lectures:

The name of his channel is: NFBCmedia's channel (worth subscribing to!)
Hope this helps!

yes certainly theres an end for the world. but we are the one who is responsible for that . when god created man he said he will bear all the pains until everything goes in order. as the system fails god said he is gonna end the world . well that will be with the weather changes. that too rapid weather changes which we cant even predict for. so get ready for anything that happens next . prepare yourself mentally . dont be like the US govt. hiding all the information whats gonna happen. they know the truth and they are just hiding because of the world economy. god knows whoz gonna survive but we shuld be ourselves as a human till the end .

I don't think the world will end. World will end someday but I don't think it will end in 2012. These are all stories. Maya calender is till 2012, they prepared this calender some three thousand years ago. So some people think that the world will end after 2012, but it is not true. People like to hear this type of fascinating stories so these stories got more publicity by Media, News papers, Films etc etc. People were saying that world will end in 1991, but is it ended? NO. These are all stories. Many Geologists, scientists are studying our planet everyday. If there could be any signs of destruction then they would have warned us till now.
According to the Bible this world has an end, but before that Jesus Christ is going to come back on earth. But the exact date of his coming is not given in the bible. Only the signs of his coming are given. The end of world is given in bible. World is not going to be destroyed by water or rain but it is going to be destroyed by fire. If you want to know more about this please read the book of REVELATION.
Don't worry world is not going to be destroyed this early.

well, the world will end someday but i don't think it will happen anytime soon or in my lifetime either. i also don't think it'll end in just a single day it could end in a scenario where mankind has used up all the resources of earth or it could possibly end with an entirely different reason.
