Why is it so hard to find a true friend?

hello bypbyp! I'm also picky when it comes to choosing "real" friends. It is always to mingle and find someone whom you share same interest. But very few are concern and sincere to be a true friend. All we have to do is to be "positive" with life. That, not all people are the same. For sure, you will find someone that will treat you right and someone who you will share everything and anything under the sun.

Oh, True friends are really hard to find so when we have found one you must treasure her/him. We cannot avoid fake friends and we cannot please everybody. Sometimes I just ignore it if it doesn't harm anybody or hurt anyone if some people are thinking/ saying bad things to me. Just be yourself.

ya its hard to find true and real friends, friends whom we can trust, im lucky to have this kind of friends, i only have few whom i really trust but some friends are just friends whom we can talk to and share things with but its really a different level when it comes to true friends... feels like a sister or family... share secrets and only u and ur true friends know.

yes your right, real friend is not easy to find. i thought i alredy have one before. we shared a lot in common, we watch movie together, go out of town, we even have the same favorite foods and etc. but then when i lost my job, all of a sudden i cant reach her anymore. maybe shes afraid that now that i dont have job i will going to ask money from her thats why shes hiding from me. though im not really going to ask money from here since i still have savings and my family is always there to support me. i just felt so sorry for our friendship.

hmm. hi, i'm from indonesia. if i'm being you, i will not take a time for thinking is he/she is my true friend or not. i will care to all my friend, and the time will coming when i know who is my true friend. ^^

it's so hard to find a true friend because friends may come and go...some of them want to use you, some wants to have a temporary shoulder to cry on..some can't be trusted that much..but i'm glad i have found a true friend and will never ever let go of our relationship.

It's hard because no human are perfect (or so I think). At times, everyone is for themselves. But if you have a friend who is there for you during your hard time, that friend is your true friend (at least that's how I found mine). If you ever felt upset because someone you thought is your true friend turns out to be not, don't be. You should be glad because at least you found out the truth and you can just move on without continuing to waste time on that person

First welcome to mylot friend. Yes i think we can not life without friend. The friend can make me so happy or sad.

A true friend is hard to find,I agree with you. Maybe they have a purpose yo make friends with you.It is terrible.But I think a true friend is exist.we need a patient ,kind-hearted to make a good friend.I think we will find a true friend sooner or later.
