My husband is my inspiration. He is like a muse for me. We will be sitting around chatting about everyday life and it gives me all kinds of new discussions. I have quite a few discussions to put on here but want to put them on when I know I have the time to respond to everyone. So what/who inspires you? Is it just everyday life? Is it cause you have questions you need/want to ask?

Yes, it is everyday life for me too. But ever since I've joined, I've been keen on everything that happens to me, or everything that I do. I always ask myself, is this something worth raising a discussion in myLot?
Often times, if I discover one worth writing, it'd be nagging on my head until I get a chance to write it up here.

Hi Bounce. You didn't take that nick name (bounce) cause of the movie did you? I loved that movie. I do get amused easily. So most things that happen to me even if bad things I can turn most of it around to something to write a discussion on here. I love this site. Sometimes I swear I am going to get a pocket recorder so I can write more discussions. But my husband is my muse and he likes it so it is a good thing. This man is pretty smart and don't come up with stupid things. My ex came up with some real stupid things to talk about. I don't think in the entire 12 years that we were married he ever called me more then once or twice by my name. It was always a dirty name or a stupid nick name. I couldn't carry on a decent conversation with him for more then a few seconds.

Hi Bounce. The movie was called bounce with Ben Afflect in it. Not me I am glad to be away from my ex. He wasn't a very nice man and I have a much better husband now. MY husband is a good man. He calls me by nick names too but he also calls me by my real name too. I can't remember what the movie was about but if I do I will tell you what it is.

Whether some or many people deny it, I still say its all about money. Money is the only one inspiration I got when I first joined myLot. My discussions though are of different topics though I enjoy posting it under the questions and answer interest. I had also learned that posting discussions with no definite right or wrong answer is more effective than a debate type discussion.

Hi Fulltank. It is nice to see those earnings go up. But I am going to write a book someday I keep telling myself this and this site helps me get in some writing skills. And for me that is a good thing. I do like learning how others live all over the world.

Hi Fulltank. Yes I do enjoy the money part of it but don't make enough on here to keep me cause of that. I like to chat to anyone and everyone from all over the world. I like learning how others think and how they live. I didn't know until a discussion I wrote that some countries don't use toilet paper. Wow that was an interesting thing to learn. I like to pick peoples brains to find out what they do and how they do it. Your never too old to learn something new daily.

Hi Cry0lf. I think life is what you make of it. I love thinking of the positive things and I love to chat with people from all over the world. It is nice to see what others think and feel. I love this site. Even my lot associates inspire me to a new discussion sometimes. Thank you all for the inspiration!

hello free_man,
I have few discussions that I put up to seek some answers and to get other people's opinion. I have some that pertains about how I feel or think about certain things like life experiences or current emotion. My main inspiration is life itself. I sometimes find inspiration with people who put up great topics and discussions. But mainly, I only start a discussion when I feel the need to get some answers that is important or relevant for me. Anyway, you said that your husband is your inspiration....wow! that's so sweet! I hope to get that kind of inspiration as well. (i'm jealous) haha! j/k! Hope you'll have more fun discussions to create in the future. Happy Lotting!

Hidanitykane. Life can be inspiring. I do have some things I like to ask on here. I like knowing what others think. Your never too old to learn new things if you just open up your mind and look and listen. Life isn't all that great at times but it is good to be able to talk to all kinds of people. Someone may give you the answer to what you are looking for.
My husband is a great muse. If you could see him and the dog playing around it is so fun to watch. When my husband is busy he will tell Sam go get mommy and when I am busy I tell Sammy to go get daddy. So our dog is my muse too. Life is grand as long as you don't let the bad out weigh the good. Good is always better. We ask God to guide us daily! And that reallys helps make life good.

Oddly enough, I use mylot as a launching area. Lending my two cents is a type of warm up before I write. It's not the topics themselves so much as a chance to free write whatever may go spinning through my melon at the time. My responses stem from my life experiences 99% of the time. I haven't gotten into starting my own discussions. Partly because there seems to be plenty of interesting things generated here daily. Also, because I'm afraid I won't have time to keep up with discussions I start. I can't say I draw inspiration from any one person. I don't have a living, breathing muse. I've had women in my life that acted as a muse. Inevitably, when the relationship ended, my writing suffered. Even worse, when I would go back and read things from when I was in love it was pretty weak. I'm a big fan of love and all relationships. I just prefer not to tie them into my writing. I usually draw from peoples actions, or reactions. That's where the most interesting stories come from. You can find a dozen different stories just walking down the street.

Hi Batcountery and welcome to my lot. Well I get a lot of discussions from all things that are in my life. But my husband is a good source for me. We talk about all kinds of interesting things. We see all kinds of things while riding down our dirt roads and just hanging out with some of the weird people we know. Our dog Sam gives me some good ones too. The preacher we listen to gives me inspires me. Just all kinds of things inspire me. Life isn't it fun!

Yeah! I slept on it and feel the need for an addendum. Most of the time when I need to get my head around a story I draw a lot of my inspiration by going to my happy places. Going for a long distance hike at a nearby park, or kayaking. Both activities allow me to have a quiet, beautiful place to leave what I'm writing in the back of my mind to ferment. I've always gone to the woods or the water when I need to think.

Hi Java. I love it I get ideals from all kinds of people for this discussion board. My husband and my dog are a great source of info. I tease my husband and call him my muse. He gets a big kick out of it. I get all kinds of ideals from all kinds of things. Last week I got a new one from this lady at a place where we was. Haven't put it on here yet. People amuse me when in the public. I seem to look at things in a different way since joining my lot. I have been telling my husband I need to get a tape recorder so I don't forget things.
