A small doubt in english..where to sue the word "would"..please give me some ex

this word sometimes is taken for granted.. we have been using this word simply and unawarely in our everyday life. but we don't get time to check if we understand the correct usage. But the word itself is a weak word. it's better to use 'will'. in a scenario, 'would' can be used when you are thinking back of the things to be done while being at present. just simply think of it like remembering some stuff that you would like to happen, to do or still to do. i would have done the reports if i have not gone to the party. i would have become a doctor. i would be a doctor. we would have come if we are invited. we wouldn't have gone if it rained. we would like to thank our family and friends who supported us in this project. i missed the party, it would have been fun. hope it helps.. ;-)

umm... for an example you could have said the abouve line as- "where would you use the word "would"? another one would be "how would you react if someone says hi?" etc,etc

I would like to talk to you. Would you listen to me for a minute? Would you like a glass of lemonade? When would be a good time for that? How would you like to do this? Maybe if you would've (would have) listened in the first place... Heheheh. Just having a little fun but I hope this helps you some more.

Where would you like to go? Why would I do that? When would you like to leave the house? Would you like to go see a movie? Where would you like me to put this? Would you like to wear this dress?
