hi everyone: I thought you might all get a kick out of the title of this discussion. I happened to think of it because this has happened to me way to many times. I will stast posting, fall asleep, while posting and when I wake up I forgot what I was doing. I would have to go back and read what I posted so I don't repaet myself. I mean, what a time to fall aleep, huh? I guess my eyes don't knwo any difference that is for sure. It is so frustraing when it happens, but hey, I just get right back up on the horse so to speak and keep going and not givve up. I like mylot so much and I iwll keep on keeping on, whether I fall asllep while posting or not. Share with us all if this has happened to you. Everyone take care and happy mylotting.

I guess that is my problem as I will just sit back in my easy chair and i will put my head back to just rest for a bit, and I ned up falling saleep. It has happend most of the time though when I was posting, as I would nod off, and when I would wake up my hand would still be on the keyboard ready to type the cext word. When it happens, and I wake up, I had ha go back and read wiaht i wrote as I would forget what I had written already, and I don't want to repeat myself. I wish it happened at a differetn time than when I a m in here, but since it does, I just have to deal with it, even though it is frustrating. Thank you for your response, and ahppy mylotting.

Yes, I realy do like mylot as I haeen here since April of last year, and it keeps me focused on what is important. I do enjoy sharing, but I don't like it when I fall asleep doing so. It isn't so bad if it happens when I first start posting, but at the end, that is frustrating as I have to read it all over agin, I don't repeat myself or get oof the beaten path while posting. I am just glad tht it doesn't happen all the time, but it does happen enough. Thank you for your response, and happy mylotting.

I've never fall asleep while MyLotting. If ever I get tired and sleepy, I take few more minutes to make most of my time here, but like if I can't hold it anymore. I'd go to bed. I don't know for some people, but maybe for some of them would fall asleep. But sometimes when I do MyLotting I feel sleepy. Lol

I know what you mean, as while I am doing mylot, it invariably fall asleep. I get frustrated when it happens, but I have tired all I can to stay awake, and it is so hard. I haven't been getting a lot of sleep at night and that is why I think I fall asleep like I do. I hope I can stay wakw today, as it is much more enjoyable when I am awake, that is for sure. Thank you for your response, and happy mylotting.

well I've never fallen asleep while posting on mylot, but it did happen to me a few times on a review writing site I use to hang about on late in to the night. The worst case was when I fell asleep with my fingers still on the keyboard and had managed to fill in a review box with a continual string of characters. Thankfully I hadn't hit the enter key by mistake ...... or I don't think I did, lol.

That is so funny. I hope you didn't hit the enter key either as that would have really been embarrassing to say the least. When I fall asleep posting in here, I will wake up and wonder what I was doing, and i will looki, and see that i had been posting when I fell asleep. I usually have to read what I already posted so I don't repeat myself. It happens more than I want it too, but I have had a hard time getting a good night's sleep lately, but lats night I slept like a baby, so I hope I can stay awake all day. Thank you for your response, and happy mylotting.

If it would only happen at night close to bed time then I really wouldn't mind it so much. I guess I just get so tired nowadays, but I still try to do things on the computer anyway, in the hopes I will eventually stay awake. Usually after I have had a catnap, then I am wide awake and can continue on. Right now I am wide awake, but I wasn't earlier. Thank you for your response, and happy mylotting.

It never happens on me since. When surfing into this site ,I'll make sure that I am very much awake and alert. I used to have enough sleep so that I will retain more energy in chatting here.

You know that is true that we do need energy to be in here, and it seems lately, that my energy hasn't been all that great. I am hoping that it chenges one of these days, but at my age, I am not sure of anything. I just get tired of falling alseep when I am trying to do things on the computer. I sure do enjoy coming in here, and sharing with others, but it does make it hard when i fall asleep and forget what I am doing. Thank you for your response and happy mylotting.

I haven't fallen asleep while posting on MyLot--yet! But I HAVE had to take a pee-pee break every now and then--such as right now! brb... b! However, I HAVE fallen asleep (nodded off for a few seconds) while playing Bubble Popp and still seem to manage to beat Daisy at least part of the time! Got to go for now, as my mom is waiting for her Christmas Eve call...ttfn :-)

It wasn't MyLot, but it was somewhere else (can't remember just where, but, probably, Facebook) that I was leaving a comment and nodded off. When I woke up, I couldn't remember what I had been about to say next. LOL

I must say, that I haven't fallen asleep while mylotting, at least lately. I seem to be getting tired very easily, and I fall asleep at the drop of a hat, so if I ever fall asleep while posting here, I hope that it is just a nod and not a nap, as i might forget what I was doing, and end up posting something that might not make make sense. thank you taking the time to respond, and I hope you have a blessed Christmas.

I can not say that I have ever fallen asleep but I've been very sleepy and nearly fallen asleep before. It'd be interesting to fall asleep and still be typing, though I suppose that wouldn't be truly asleep, just nearly so.

That is quite funny, and It makes me wonder just how you manage to do that. If I'm asleep and say I'm holding the remote, my hand will move and it wakes me up.

I am glad that I don't fall asleep everyday,. as it is frustrating enough that it happens, without it happening all the time, but it happens enough, that I will be posting, and all of a suddeen, myh eyes close and when I wake up my hands are still on the keyboard with is hilarious in itself, but I have to go back and read what I had already posted to make sure I don't repeat myself. Anyway, thank you for your response and happy mylotting.

I am glad it doesn't happen all the time, but it does happen enough that it does become annoying and frunstrating all at the same time. I try to keep my eyes open, but all of a sudden, I just drift off, and when I wake up, my hands are on the keyboard right where I left them. It is funny to see that hough, and when I realize that I had fallen asleep, I will end up going back over what I posted so I don't say the same thing again. Lately, I haven't been falling asleep as much as I was, but still happens. I get up early, and that could be why, but I just can't sleep so I get up and stay up. I tell myself, that I will take a nap later in the day, and I do just that, as my body and my eyes decide that for me. Thank you for your response, and happy mylotting.

There are some nights where I just toss and turn to get comfortable and I don't seelp to well, and other nights I sleep better. The ones where I don't sleep to well, are the ones where I end up sleeping during the day, and it is so frustrating as well. I try to do the sites I need to do everyday, and I will end up sleeping instead of getting them done. It is nice to know that you aren't tired after just a few hours sleep. I hope that I can get a real good nights sleep and stop sleeping during the day when I need to stay awake. Thank you for taking the time to respond and happy mylotting.

Yes, I really do like mylot. I have been doing pretty good lately though, as I haven't been falling asleep like I was, and that is a good thing. I need my sleep when I go to bed, not in the middle of the day. My crocheting has been keeping me awake and that isa good thing for sure. I do get tired though just before I am ready to retire for the night, so I just quit in here so I don't fall asleep, and start again the next morning. Thank you for responding and happy mylotting.

Ha ha! Yes! I have fallen asleep here, though not lately! Before I was pregnant last year, I stayed up to be on the computer until wee hours of the night because that was my only chance. And once I got pregnant, I'd find myself nodding from time to time in this home office chair. Sometimes I was even half asleep but still typing and I awoke realizing I didn't know what the heck I was even writing about! Other times I've awoken in the middle of my response to someone and I didn't feel like finishing because I was so darn tired. Hmmm, does anyone know if they've been snorning while on myLot? Hee hee!

Well, you asked about snoring on mylot. I am guilty as charged. What is so funny though, I have 2 dogs and all 3 of us fall asleep together, but they don't snore hardly and when I do, I wake myself up to the dogs looking at me really funny. I guess they never heard such snoring like like I do at times. Anyway, it is so frustrating when I am responding to someone, and I will start falling asleep, and when I wake up, I had forgot where I even was and what I was doing. It does get frstrating, but at my age, I just deal iwth it. Being a grandmother, I fall asleep a lot more than I would like, but it is better here at home than on the road driving. Congratualtions on your new baby, and happy mylotting.

Hee hee! Isn't it funny when you catch yourself snoring? I don't know if I've done that at the computer - but thank goodness it's the middle of the night or otherwise it'd be highly embarrasing - hee hee!! Maybe your dogs think the snoring is a funny kind of bark - hee hee. Yah, those night time myLot sessions when we're half alive . . . we can be delirious at times! But I agree, better at the computer than on the road - yikes! Thanks for the congrats!!

It has happened to me enough times, and it is so frustrating, as right in the middle of posting, I doze off and when I wake up, I have to read what I posted so I don't repeat myself. I will say though, that is hasn't happened in awhile. It happens now when I do my other sites, instead of here. Thank you for responding, and have a very good day.

You are fortunate not to fall aswleep while mylotting. When I do it in the morning, I don't either, but as the day goes by, for some reason, I get really sleepy and just start drifting off to sleep, and when I wake back up, I realized I was mid post when it happened, so i hace to read what I posted so as not to repeat myself. Lately, though, since I have started crocheting again, I don't fall asleep, as I will work on it while I am doing my other sites, so when I come back in mylot after doing them, I am wide awake. Frankly, I just don't like sleeping during the day, as it causes me to be awake in the middle of the night, and hhat is when I really need my sleep. Thank you responding and happy mylotting.

hi rosekiss it happens to me a lot.today was a bad day for me and I kept getting so sleepy. then my head went down bash on the keyboards and my roomie is yelling I told you take a nap. well I finally made it to two oclock when I wanted to go downstairs to draw some of my social security and ssi funds out of the mylot bank here. I was sitting waiting to be called ,we sign a sheet and are called in by our names. i got to shaking and feeling really sleepy.okay I am a diabetic, I was going low, I mean like 66 so tottered into the nurses office. christine I gasped, my blood sugar is only 66. she said at once to Juana, go get a glass of orange juice at once.so there I sat sipping orange juice and shaking.lol l ol. It had never dawned on me that my blood sugar was lol, I had ate a good dinner with cake for dessert and figured I was sleepy from being too high. so it pays to check your blood glucose often when you have diabetes as it can fool you.,but other times I have fell asleep just because I did not sleep well the night before.

Wow, you really did have a bad day, but I am glad that everything worked out for you. I have never had diabetes, so that isn't the reason I keep falling asleep. I just don't sleep to well at night as I just seem to toss and turn. For once, I would like to be able to sleep all night without waking up so when I get on the computer, I will be wide awake, and vibrant to do what I need to do to get through the day. I guess the older I get, sleepless nights seem to be the norm, and I hate that too. I hope taht is it all changes one of these nights, but if it doesn't I will contineu to fall asleep in here. Thank you for your response, and happy mylotting.

I've been there, when I'm slumber and nothing can I search and I'm exhausted wasted energy to do myLot all the time. Raving with sentences that are not clear to be heard and when I wake up forgetting what I want typed. Because I do not know what to do then I turn off my computer and left the room. To the point when I was sleeping slobber dripping onto the keyboard.

I can certainly understand what you mean, as I fall asleep so easily, and it is so frustrating, as I don't want that happening when I am in here. I will fall asleep, and when I wake up, I resalize that I am still here and didn't finish posting. I will look at what I have done and then continue on after I read it first. I don't know what it is, but I invaiably fall asleep while I am here in mylot. At least it doesn't hapen all the time, but it happens enough. Thank you for responding and happy mylotting.

No, not yet, though I have fallen asleep while on the computer...So I guess this could happen to me any day now. =P But usually, if I fall asleep while on the computer, if I wake up, I'll go up to bed. It's amazing that you're just able to keep on MyLotting even when you seem to be tired.

I don't really mind it at night but not in the day tiem. It os very frustrating. Thank you for your response and happy mylotting.
