I prefer send text messages cause i don't like talking to the phone at all, i hate it but i don't know why xD. When my cellphone rings, i don't even want to respond to it xD so i put my cellphone profil on "Discret mode", i don't know why i act like this...

Well here in the Philippines texting is a much more preferred way of communicating via cellphone. That is because it is far more cheaper than calling them. In texting messages can be stored for record purposes. Plus the fact that the cost is pretty much cheaper than calling them.

I'm not picky really. But I'll admit I send/recieve more text messages then I do phone calls. Most of my friends prefer I send them texts because its cheeper to get unlimited texting. I too pay for unlimited texting because its cheeper. Of course I also pay for unlimited talk as well because there are times I'm going to need the phone for a phone and I share my account with my partner who talks more then I do.

It depends for me when I use the mobile phone. If I just want to say something short, I just send a text message. But now I tend to do more calls than sms because call rates here are cheaper.

Hello atleya.. same as you I also prefer texting rather than on talking to the phone.. this is because in texting I still have time to think of a topic while on talking to the phone I become speechless which makes the conversation boring... :) take care and happy mylotting

I hate texting. Granted if it is only a short phrase comment of some kind, but other than that...call me. This back and forth crap-ola is stupid. These days with everything free... long distance doesn't cost anymore... there is no reason not to call.

When I first got my cell phone, my daughter and I would text almost everyday, but we relaly don't do that anymore, as we talk a few times a week. It does take longer to get the text message out, when in essence, it is faster just to tell the person what you wanted to say. I have unlimited text messaging, but my daughter doesn't, so we just don't do that anymore. I do have a friend though that will text me when she hasn't heard from me to find out how I am doing. Other than that, I prefer to talk on the phone when I can. Take care, and happy myloting.

hello!
in case i need an immediate response, i prefer calling than sending sms. i send sms only if the recipient might be at work or busy at the moment or it's late at night. also, calls in thailand are cheaper than sending sms. most of the times, i feel lazy pressing the keys to send sms. LOL!

It depends on the situation. I feel speaking is the best way to communicate but it's not possible all the time.

I prefer sending text to communicate with others. On the one hand, send text is cheaper than call someone directly. On the other hand, it gives the person more time to consider when reply it.Moreover, sometimes I don't know if it's the right time to call someone. So I like texting more. Have a nice day!

For communication my view is to send an sms. As its the best way to be in touch. It requires no money and it just requires fraction of seconds to reach the person whom we wish to send. SO i feel sending an sms is the best way to be in touch when the matter to be conveyed is not that important. If the matter to be conveyed is very important then only i use my currency and make a call to the person. Nowadays this is also become very cheap. Like we can see 1second billing. It has brought about good business to the company and also good revenue to the government.
