You are better off getting a real job. That way you are guaranteed to get a paychech. As long as you show up and do the work.

You could sell something on Ebay with a closing auction in a few days or whenever you need the money by. It is a great time to sell on Ebay because more people are looking there now because of the upcoming holidays.
