have you heard the news? a 9 year old boy was nearly busted at the school after playing with his friends a 2-inch lego toy gun, i agree with his mom, the toy is not the issue lack of common sense of the school principal is the issue, the principal really went overboard with the issue, if you were the mom or dad how would you react with this issue? read the full details of this news, click http://www.nydailynews.com/ny_local/education/2010/02/04/2010-02-04_big_trouble_over_this_tiny_toy_mom_fuming_at_a_lack_of_common_sense_as_son_buste.html

what the school principal do is excessive for the boy.i think that this boy dont know anything because of his age.the school should pay attention to educate for this boy.not punishing by using this excessive way.it only let this boy lost chance of education.i think that school have responsiblity to regulate this kids and let them grow up with healthy whatever in spirital and physical education.

that was an exaggerated reaction from the principal and it is not should be the cases where their is an extreme sanction put on the boy side kinda quite humiliating since it is a lego it should be forgiven giving a light penalty not so harsh it could create a trauma on the eboy young mind. it is suppose to be a play and not to make the issues so great unless their is a damage done which is very absence, i think the parents should file a case against the principal for her over reaction.

wow, really almost suspended? Jeez, everyone must look down on that principal. I agree that the principal over-reacted but I also think that the mother went a little over board. Tell me if I'm wrong, but is suing really necessary? I mean people can sue anyone for anything. I still think the principal should apologize, but I don't think that he has to get sued for it. He probably learned his lesson and won't forget, because he's probably lose his job and everywhere people see him, they're going to glare him down.
