Giving silver as a gift

Hey everyone, I was thinking about what to get my girlfriend for a valentines day gift and thought I would get her a necklace, something with a heart on it to fit the occasion, the only thing I've been able to find that is within my price range with a design she would like is in sterling silver. We've only been seeing each other for about 4 months And I was wondering if giving silver would make me look like a bum

Im confused. Why would that make you look like a "bum". Personally I prefer silver jewellery. I think it looks better than gold so maybe your girlfriend is the same and no matter what metal she prefers I am sure she will be grateful and appreciate of it.

I don't see anything wrong giving a silver to your girl, in fact, it's a wonderful gift this Valentines' day. It's the thought that counts, isn't it? I know your girl will really appreciate it and she will understand that you're not yet in a position to give her a more expensive gift. And besides, silver jewelries are very fashionable nowadays.

There is nothing wrong with sterling silver. It,s a really nice gift. The only thing that is important, is that it comes from the heart. I am sure she will love and appreciate this gift. TATA.

I don't think it will make you look like a bum...I'm pretty sure people living in poverty couldn't even afford that much, lol. I actually like you're gift idea, and I can honestly say it's better than what I've seen people giving at my school these past few years. Hope everything works out for the best! ;)
