The Paypal Episode

Today is 05-02-2010, Friday.
Everybody are talking about reversal of payments of Indians, Blocking of payments to Indians and so on. But I don't know, why there is an exemption in my case. Today morning I got my first payout from Incrasebux, $3.39 to my paypal account. My account is 'premium - verified'. I have the payment proof with me.
One of my friends messaged me yesterday that his one payment from a site was reversed by paypal.Today morning I forgot about that message and requested for payout.
In incrasebux, the account should be upgraded to 'verified' status to get instant payout, spending $3.50. I done that also. Then requested for payout and within seconds I got the payment to my paypal account.
Knowing the paypal episode I was feared whether I would lose my money. But so far the account balance is OK. I don't know about the future situation.

hi im from the philippines. i have one payment that was reversed by paypal as well. its $9. although i never had any problem from my previous payments. im waiting for my payment here on mylot if it will be accepted or not. tsk2

i think its not asia alone coz one of my friend here dorannwin, i think she's from canada even experienced the same problem a few weeks back. we were talking about it and she was even asking me on what actions have i done. i just chose the option service on one part of paypals inquiries to resolve the issue.

wait for monday, my balance went to negative already, those transction are made on 2feb are returned. Even the money I withdrawed on 27th jan yet to deposit my bank account.

Yes I too was not aware that one could over draw and go into negative.So what happens then? do you pay a penalty or fine? The money that is withdrawn generally takes a week or sometimes more if there is weekend or public holidays in between....Lets hope your money gets transferred to your bank account at the earliest..

Thanks Sona for referring me here. Let us hope the problem will be solved in early next week and i hope i will get the money watever reversed to Clients. If any one faced this problem in earlier

Hi josechukkiri, I am in the same boat. I received monies yesterday as well as the day before. But there is a change in the way I can pay. I can no longer opt for personal payments. If I choose for others, amongst the limited choice, paypal collects hefty charges! Out of 15 dollars, it has collectd 89 cents! That by any standards is a lot! I have also tried to withdraw some monies because of this controversy. I expect it will take about 3 weeks from now to know whether withdrawal is being allowed. Lets wait and watch. I personally think there is no need to panic. The problem will be resolved soon enough.

Hey congrats on that! Luck is on your side. But this is being the highlighted topic today by everyone and everyone is hoping that this problem will be sorted out by monday. I would suggest you not to request monwy until this problem is over.

Okay. Then it means only personal payments are being reversed!
Business payments are not reversed. But some people on 'digitalpoint forum' are claiming that even if they try to send the payment as 'Goods' it is being reversed.
But thanks for sharing your transaction. That shows business payments are not reversed.

great now what.im from india as well.i hope paypal hasn't started doing any dirty work.i have also some amount to be transferred from trekpay in 6 days.i hope i get it.
