We are all friends here and of course we meet new once almost everyday. We like to share everything, within limits, of course. But now im a sitting here and wondering, even if we do not really know each other personally, what goes threw your mind when you respond to one of your friend's discussions. Do you also try and pitcure this person, no matter where they are? I try my utmost best to figure out, what kind of person this is. And i have to say, i wonder a lot. TATA.

Yes, it is true, but don,t you ever think of what that person is feeling or thinking at that moment in a discussion? For me it is easier, to respond if i can get the feeling of that person. It is so much nicer. And we do want to help as much as we can. TATA.

I never think of the person behind. Because there is much more chance of getting wrong assumption . We can't even make right judgment on the person whom we can contact physically. It is very hard to get a person from their writing. Because I know may people who can write very attractively and goods views are there in their writing but as a person they are very bad. So I don't want to reach the person behind and just want read between the line and want to answer as good as possible.

I know in real life I do that with people I meet - try to figure them out. But I can physically seem them, their gestures, mannerisms - or hear the way they speak and the way they say things. Here, it's a bit harder as I don't get the whole picture of a person . . . some people write like they talk . . . others don't. And most people seem to stick to the discussions here, so it's really hard to "judge" what they're really like. I will say though, after a while, I do get to know the writing personalities of the myLot friends I see regularly . . . then I might try to picture more of the person as a person. I'm a complex person anyway, so it might be hard to figure me out period - hee hee.

If you ever figure me out, let me know . . . because I haven't even figured me out - hee hee!! But yah, the more we interact with people online, the more we get to know them. It's good most of the time, but others - eek!! But it's all cool on myLot thus far!

hi saphrina,
Its human nature to think a lot all the time.Yeah,we all mylot members do have discussions of all sort of topics.I,myself also wonder about other mylot member's
characters, feelings & problems whenever i strike a discussion with them. Its just a way of the human to wonder a lot of things whenever they faced with a situation or person. When we wonder a lot, some people may called us daydreaming and i guessed it may be true afterall.

No, I just concentrate on that green-no picture avatar and I answer to it. It is more liberating without predisposed misconceptions. Sometimes by the way someone writes things or writes to me I may wonder and say "hey he/she sounds like 'blank'?
Then I say.."nah.. that's too much coincidence..'blank' is probably watching tv right now, at work(can't be here chatting) putting the kid to sleep etc etc...

We can imagine the character (sorry, i think it is not correctly suitable word) r way of living through our answer,
but our main aim is to earn money,
BUT ALL THE TIME MONEY IS NOT THE CRITERION,
sometimes our heart leads our mind.
because our mind thinks about money(when we are in mylot),
and
our heart thinks about humanity...

You mean there are people behind the usernames?
I thought there were only robots.

Hi saphrina,
Gee, I never thought of that. I am more interested in what a person has to say and learn from that person. Looks don't matter to me. More often, looks can be deceiving.
The avatar speaks more about the person. Do I look like a dog? But, from my avatar, one can tell that I am a dog lover.

No, my dear, it is not the looks, it is the way you pitcure this person. His or her state of mind. For me it is easier to answer or respond, in such a way. No offense, i don,t care who they are or what they look like, it is the person, themselves, that make me respond.

Whenever I respond to a discussion I always try my best to answer the topic accurately.. Because I always think that this person might need a good answer from any of the response from his post, he might use it in his day to day existence.. I might not know the person personally, but at least I have given him a useful insight that he can use in his life..

I don't think of the person behind the writing, as has been said by someone else before. I figure everything they want us to know about them, they will put it in their post and let us figure things out from that. So it really shouldn't be necessary to have to picture them. Just think deeply and try to understand the text, and I think that's enough.

I ALWAYS do that lol!
I really care when I speak to someone to understand me and feel me. So whenever I speak or discuss with someone online I have many thoughts about who he is, what he does for a living, does he know the things I know, is he better than me at some points, is he a nice person in real life etc etc...
I can not really help it, I want to know which characteristics of his personality made him give such an answer (either it is good or not)
