Hi Chaitra! As far as I am concerned, I make it a point not to forget my medicines, if I am on medication. However, my better half sometimes forgets to take medicines, if she has been prescribed any. In that case I keep reminding her off and on about her medicines. Some of the women forget to take prescribed medicines in time, because they remain busy in house hold affairs and other responsibilities.

Hi Chaitra, I have not been taking any medicine on regular basis right now. I am taking medicine when I fall in sick and that time when I feel better then I may forget to take the medicine. As you know that we should take full course of allopathic medicines. Most probably in the morning rush I may forget to take the medicine, now what I am doing is, keeping the same in my bag so that I can take the medicine after reaching the office or when I remember about the medicine.

i only take some food supplements but for sometimes now, i stopped taking them. there is something that i read in the local newspaper here about food supplements and if i can remember well, they are not medicines though some claims they are. well, i have no tendency whatsoever, if i have to take medicines or something. i am also the one in-charge with my son's medication at night time, and i always keep in mind that he should take it every night, regularly. if i can do it, i will tell somebody, my wife for this matter, to give him his meds, because it is already time and i can do it.

Hai chaitra!I am not a regular taker of medicines. But I am always keen towards taking medications if prescribed for certain illness.Only then we can get cured easily and fast.Even then, when the severity of the illness reduces and we start to do regular works, there is this possibility to forget. So,I always put a reminder in my cell phone to avoid the forgetting.

My father is on cardiac medication and my mom on regular medicines as well. But both are particular about not missing any dose. I do not have to remind them. The medicines are kept on the dining table and after they finish their food they take it. No chance of forgetting when they are right in front of your eyes.

Thanks for reminding me! No, for the most part, I don't. (though I did this morning.)I have epilepsy and take them once in the morning and once at night. I have one of those white cases with slots for every day of the week. I leave it in the bathroom in the medicine cabinet. I also keep my hairbrush in there so when I open up the cabinet to dry my hair, there it is. And at night, when I brush my teeth, the toothpaste is in there. But with that case, at night if I see I didn't take the morning ones, I just take both at night. I'm one of the lucky ones because with me, as long as I take the medication, I won't have a seisure except maybe once every 5 years. And In have gone 5 years before without having a seizure and when I did, turna out I had forgot.

Because the medecine I take is for the management of pain it is impossible for me to forget, rather more of a case of counting down the minutes before I can take some more to cause the ain to subside.

I don't take medicines but I only take my vitamins for my heart. But the problem is that I keep on forgetting to take my vitamins for my heart I don't know why I keep on forgetting maybe I'm too lazy to take it something like that. The only time I remember to take my vitamins is when I go out from my house and go out with my friends its because my vitamin bottles are near my wallet, every time I go out I carry my wallet with me I see my vitamins near my wallet and that's the only time I took my vitamins. hehe

I'm not on any medication but my husband takes several different ones throughout the day and before he goes to bed. I have to keep track of them for him or he'll forget...especially his afternoon pills. He gets busy and has other things on his mind so I have to be the nag standing there with pills like a nurse.

Hello Chaitra, In my case it happens almost every day. I hv to take too many medicines every morning and at night also. First thing on waking up, I hv to take my medicine for thyoride which fortunately I never forget. But after morning tea, I am to take medicine for blood pressure and this I forget to take at least 3 times in a week. And after breakfast, I am to take 4 tablets for arthritis as well as another related to thyoride. After breakfast, I get busy in kitchen, and it is almost around 11AM i.e. on my return from Yoga, I remember that I had not taken them and by this time I feel it is too late. And at night even if I remember that i am to take my medicines, but feeling lazy to get up I give them a miss.
