We can still survive without electricity although we see it as a day to day necessity. actually i had experienced living for almost a month without it during the storm Milenyo in the Philippines. Lines were down because of the heavy rain and strong winds that passed by our place. Our place was devastated so we did not have electricity for a month and we survived.
Do you know what's real important in order for us to live? water.

well we could try to do so.. right?? since in the past, our ancestors had lived without electricity right up until it was discovered.. maybe we can just put ourselves in their shoes when that day happens.. they survived by using their instincts and of course by utilizing mother nature's surroundings.. although we pretty much enjoy the comforts of electricity, we have to be ready when their comes a time that there will be no energy.. (blackouts ) .. so yeah i guess we can live with that.. but then we have to appreciate our hardworking scientists coz without them there is no electricity today, we might have been still banging clubs and living in caves..

It will be a disaster if there is no electricity in the life. As we can't do many things without electricity. If there is no electricity, perhaps I have nothing interesting to do and then go to sleep at night earlier:) The advantage is I may have enough rest:)
I love China

..hi.. in our province, we don't have electricity yet and all the other stuff run by electricity but people there manage.. and I like the life they have there actually.. unlike here in the city that once there are brown outs, we always ask why and as if we can't live without it.. but in the province, there's no other things to bother their life with.. life is so simple.. just work, have a good time with neighbors, tell ,stories, and sleep.. but they are happy.. sometimes, I want o go home instead.. however, I already find a job here in the city so I got to stay here.. there's only one problem in the province.. there's no enough employment opportunities.. only farming and husbandry..

I honestly cannot imagine how life would be without electricity. It actually adds up to our enjoyment. Without it, we cannot use internet and computer for our job. We cannot watch our favorite shows on television. We cannot even listen to wonderful music. Without it, the world would be filled with darkness, which I really don't like. I guess life would be totally difficult without it. Life would be boring and dull without electricity.

Living by candlelight and no TV, Internet would bring a better quality of life I think. I would definitely read more then I do now. No microwave, no hairdryer no heat. The heat would be a problem for me but I guess I can make a fire right. In the house NOT. I know somehow since people in the earlier centuries did it I know I could adapt. It would bring a deeper meaning to life for me.

Well i don't think i cannot survive this. Life will be quite boring without them, especially if you are like me, having most of your time in front of the computer instead in front of other human. Anyway, i think the world will turn into the dark age again and it will be a very uncool place to stay.

Although it will be hard I think i can live without electricity, and i think it's not really bad. We all just so dependent to electricity so when its gone we think we can't live without it.

Yeah, it's hard to live without electricity these days. However, if it's going to be a permanent thing, I'm sure we will always find some other things to do just like when we don't have electricity in the past. But it's always difficult to kill the boredom when the electricity is cut off temporarily. But one thing I would defintely revert to is reading books.

I think it may be nice. Just imagine actually talking by the light of a kerosene lamp or a candle, telling stories, being a real family!
I would love to live back in those days, because they could handle it very well.
Television is just mind control, anyway.
Cooking would not be a problem, like old times, and i would even enjoy a nice horse to ride instead of that truck ,,,,|o 0|,,,,
I could make candles and sell them...
I would miss talking to nice friends like you, but i could adapt. LOL.

Well a life without electricity is going to be tough, we wouldn't have all the comfortable things that we enjoy, like tv, internet, washing machines, dryer machines, we would have to light the houses with candles, so it would really be tough, but I think as human beings we would adapt to that, as we have done to so many other things. We would have to have nice conversations with our family and friends, we would probably have to read books instead of watch tv, or browsing online, and we would have to apply some techniques to conserve the food, no cell phones, but as human beings we would have to adapt or we wouldn't survive.

Maybe i could. But that could be so boring. I can't use any electronic stuff. I can't use my lovely computer, cell phone, camera digital. There would be no facebook, no my lot, no internet, oh noo... no tv too, no gossip. I should say thank you to the person who invented the electricity. Because of this, our life become so easy and the electricity help us in many things. I can't imagine the world without electricity, it could be so dark in the night.
