I heard the funniest thing on TV the other morning! I heard the phrase caffiene achiever! HAHAHA! It got me thinking about if I am a coffee addict or not. I would like to say no but every morning I find myself starting up that ole coffee pot. I seem to love my coffee while sitting here at the computer doing the mylot thing. LOL How about all of you? Do you feel like you are a caffeine achiever?

hi, pakonis! I think coffee is not so good for your nerves and you should not drink a lot of it, because it affects our nerve system!

Hi, msjanetjones. I do like coffee, but I don't lovvvvve it!! I usually will drink coffee twice in a week during the mornings. It gets me going. One time, coffee would make me very sleepy now the brand that I am drinking, keeps me wide awake and alert. So, I am no addict, well, not for now, I am not...

Cream97, I hear ya! In the beginning years ago I only drank it in social settings. I certainly did not own a coffee pot. However, the older I got it really seemed to be the "in" thing when people gathered. So, I began to drink coffee with others. Now, as I have gotten older and pulled myself off my addiction of Dr. Pepper I can't seem to start a day without it. But I have become quite spoiled and want my flavor of creamer and everything. I just wonder now if it's rude to carry your own bottle of creamer with you when you go on trips? LOL

I just like the taste. I can go weeks without a cup without a problem. Caffeine doesnt do a thing for me, odd as that is. Those energy drinks, which I dont like the taste of at all, didn't help which was very unfortunate. My late night drive wouldn't have been so much of a challenge.

It's probably better that those energy drinks didn't work for you because they are full of sugars! I can't stand the taste of them anyways!

Well, I feel like I need caffeine to get going in the morning. However, it is not coffee that I drink in the morning. Rather, I have a Pepsi every morning to help get my day jump started. Still, I guess that's mostly the same. I have to have my caffeine, even if it is in a different form than the morning coffee.

I know what you mean! I used to have to begin all my mornings with a Dr. Pepper but the weight I gained wasn't good! So, I turned to coffee. Now, I do ask myself how much better is that? LOL

Hi, same with you. I am just drink a cup of coffee in the morning. No more than that. So, can we claim as coffee addict? If it is said that only a cup a day, it can not be classified as addict, but, I always headache if I don't drink it in the morning. Then, how? It is a very nice discussion. Happy mylotting! Best wishes,

hi! I drink coffe from time to time, but only when I go out with my friends or colleagues from the university, because I don't think it is very health. I prefer drink some tea, because it refreshes me and make me feel full of energy!

I am an avid tea drinker in the summertime. I live in the South and there is nothing better than a tall glass of freshly brewed ice tea!
