Do you tell secrets to your best friend?

I have a lot of friends around me but I trust no one anymore. You see, Your best friend has her own circle of friends whom you don't know.
Before, I would easily trust a friend. I would tell her family secrets and made her promised not to tell it to anyone. Once, I told her about my secret marriage to my boyfriend, we want it to remain secret because we were not yet prepared to tell our parents. The next thing I knew, everybody in the office were asking us if it was true. What we did was to rush everything for the church wedding before our parents learn about it.. Now we are not on speaking terms with that friend of mine.

I would tell secrets to my friends but just a part of it,the entire i would like to keep it for mysefl rather than tell anyone,even it's my best friend or close friends

I definitely agree with you. It's impractical to divulge everything to a friend. Keep the most delicate part of the story to yourself.

Yes but those who can see to be trusted friends. Its help me be at ease at my every burden If I am able to let my secrets out to them at some time...

I agree with you that sharing some of your secrets or problems to a friend helps you feel better, but it's really hard to scrutinize a person if he/she can really be trusted.

I think you can tell some part of your secrets to your friend.. things that need utmost care should not be told to anyone and its better if you keep it within yourself..

Not all, I always kept some portion of my secrets. Not because i dont trust her, but i want to have a space for myself. Some secrets my parents only know it but my bestfriend dont know or vice versa.

some time this type of things also happen in between best friends.
I have never faced this type of situation but that does not mean nothing can happen to me.
Human beings are not machine they can turn in to any side at any time.
But best friends are the person with whom we share everything and it help us to stay relaxed

It's a good thing such situation has not happened yet to you. And if it does, maybe
you'll have a different opinion. Your best friend could be your worst enemy once you parted ways.
