the first one was bad enough especially for those to the south of where i live, but two of these is one week geez.
i don't know about the rest of you, but i'm about ready for winter to be over.
we had a pretty nothing winter going till this last week and now we have had enough snow for a few winters in just a week.
these are the kind of things that really make you look forward to the spring.
i've had my fill of it for this winter how about the rest of you?

I have definitely had my fill of winter. We have had three snow storm so far and we are apparently expecting another one. I dont want it. Having a White Christmas was nice, but now I just want to be able to feel the sun and see some green. And I am tired of trudging through sludge to get to places. Bring on the Spring!

i am with you on that i have had enough of it to last me till the next winter. i think we had a white christmas here then whoosh rain washed it all away.
my little niece built her first snowman and the rain took him away, but now she can go build another one till the sun melts it all away or it warms up and rains again.
i am with you bring on the spring and some warmer weather.

since I'm out of grade school and snow means being trapped at home , I was sick and tired of snow with the first storm. I'm off work yet again tomorrow.I want to go up to the snow G-ds and scream No More! Uncle!

They did a good job shoveling my walk near my house but outside my area is bad. My street looked good Tuesday but other streets were bad. I'll try to get to work Friday.

well i wish you good luck in being able to get there safely. i don't know why, but around here people are always in too much of a hurry to get places. they act like its a race and they have to beat you to where you are going instead of just being smart and not taking chances.

i am one of those that will not go out in weather like this, because there is no reason to risk your life to go out in weather like this and the people around here drive like idiots when there is nothing on the road so imagine how much worse they would be when the weather is bad.
don't get me wrong i love to watch it snow its just having to clean up after it and when you get alot of it there really is no room on the roads they don't do a great job of cleaning it up except on the main roads and where i live we are right next to an alley.
so i will probably be stuck at home till friday at the earliest, but it will give me lots of time to be on here so maybe that will be a good thing.

It started snowing here in Hamilton early this morning, and still hasn't stopped. It's 11:11 EST. I guess we're in for a dump. And after me being so smug about avoiding the storms, too. Sunday was almost springlike, cool but very sunny. Now this!

yeah i guess i jinxed myself by saying we didn't get too much the other day either.
well i guess this one is going to make up for it all by itself.
this one is more of a packing kinda snow too.
it just all clumps together which can make for some pretty big snowballs when you are trying to shovel it away just hopes it ends soon and we don't get too much.

I know what you mean. We have had more snow than we usually have been getting in the last several years. We have had two snow storms here in the last several weeks and they are calling for another one this weekend. I won't complain too much because it could have been a lot worse than it was considering people who are on the east coast such as you have gotten a heck of a lot more than we have.
Here's to SPRING for all of us. Hopefully sooner than later!

I think that is PA and WA that got record setting snow fall. Probably another state that I'm not recalling as well. People have been building snowmen and women and I even saw someone had a snow cat on top of their car yesterday.

you are probably thinking of Baltimore, Maryland.
the main cities that had the record snowfall were Baltimore, Philadelphia, and Washington D.C.
i don't know if we had a record here but it was certainly a lot for a week and i hope it is done at least for awhile.

i can't remember when we have had 2 storms that have dumped so much snow in such a short period on time one storm was bad enough, but to get two big nasty ones in a weeks time wow.
i think i saw somewhere, maybe it was even on here that this was some sort of a record snowfall.
there are places that usually don't get much at all just with the last storm getting over 2 feet not sure what they got out of this one we got about 5-6 inches the first one, but this one sure made up for that one we got i would say at least a foot this time.
its hard to find a good spot to measure since all we have are big piles of snow everywhere.
i need one of those wooden snowmen with the inches on them.

We had Spring for a few days and then winter came back. It's supposed to be in the 50's today, but I haven't been feeling well so I haven't been going out.

sorry to hear you are not feeling well we just had another storm here of about an inch or so of heavy wet snow, which can be a real pain in the back to move if you know what i mean.
can you send some of that warm weather up this way we are freezing our butts off up here.
i think i would be overjoyed for a day where i saw it hit 40 degrees we have been at or around freezing for the last week or two now and it is not much fun.
enjoy your nice weather hope you feel better :-)

I live not too far from you. I love the snow and am really enjoying this snowstorm. As long as people are safe, it makes for some fun. We haven't had a storm like this in years, and I hope there are people who are out there making the most of it like I am!

when it's so bad they have to shut down the interstate here then it gets to be not too good.
don't get me wrong i used to love to play in the snow and go sledding and all that when i was younger, but when you get older its all work trying to move the snow that you don't really get to enjoy it too much, but if you do that's great too.
for the people that really love the snow like people that love to go skiing this is their kind of weather you don't get this very often especially twice in a week this has been a historic week for winter weather in this part of the country.
