Do you have a laptop or a desk computer?
We are lucky and have both but I prefer the desk top one.
I thought that it would be nice to have a laptop and now we finally have one I find it not so easy as I thought with it literally on my lap and watching television at the same time.
I think it might be because I am not used to a lap top and in time will get to like it.

I have both laptop and desktop computer in my home. I actually like to use laptop more because it's portable and convenient. I only use desktop computer when I need to watch some videos or films. The screen desktop is much bigger and sound effects are much better so you can enjoy the videos or films better. Other than that, everything else can be accomplished with a laptop.

I just have a desktop computer and I am planning to buy a laptop computer as soon as I can as I have to attend to work on some applications which I am easily able to do while I am not at home using a laptop as it is mobile. I can use it for office work while in company for better and faster use as my fingers type faster on laptop keyboard!!

I have both, desktop in the office and Laptop at home. The best thing about laptop is that I can move around and work. As you pointed - I watch TV and work at the same time at home which is a bit difficult with Desktop. Initially I had problem using laptop but after few days of use it was much more easy than desktop.
I prefer to work on laptop.

I have a laptop, will have both eventually. I think both have there benefits. I can not live without my laptop I use it daily and use it for work it is the only way I can function is having my laptop with me at all times. I love the fact that a laptop has so many features that make it small and compact.

In the past I had a couple of different desktops. In 2008 my old desktop broke down and I decided to buy a laptop instead of a new desktop. I am happy about my decision even though there has been a few problems. My laptop overheats sometimes, and I didn't have that problem with my desktop, and it was also easier to play games on my desktop, but I still like my laptop very much. I have a wireless internet connection and I am able to use my laptop and go online anythere in my country. I studyy online and if I am going away I can simply bring my laptop and study somewhere else. I love the freedom that my laptop and my wireless internet connection give me

I have both in the past but since my desktop attacked by virus, I sold my desktop and stick to my laptop. Actually my laptop have quite small RAM, only 712 mb, compare to today's laptop which usually have more than 1 gigs memory. Having a laptop is way more effective than a desktop. It is easier to carry everywhere I go and eat lesser space than desktop. But the drawback is sometimes my laptop can be overheated and make the system goes really really slow.

I have a laptop care of my parents when I got a home based job. I wish I sticked to it since I was doing well in terms of finances. I still stick to my laptop compared to a desktop due to space issue and also its more convenient to have a laptop around.

I have a desktop computer newly bought last december. My dad gave it as my christmas gift and I never got any money from him because a computer is worth thousands of pesos. My former desktop computer he made as a gift to my girl cousin. I do not have a laptop yet because I decide to buy on the more advanced sort but my dad has a laptop.

I have both as well and I'm very happy about it. I used to play with my desk computer a lot, but since I got this powerful laptop, I never use my pc anymore. My laptop has all it needs to run the heaviest apps and besides I can bring it anywhere. I like it because it's so portable and I can connect to wifi from it.

I actually have a desktop as well as a laptop. My laptop is brand new so it is extra special; however, I prefer typing on a desktop. I am thinking about plugging a full-size keyboard into the laptop and hooking up a full-size monitor to the laptop and a regular sized mouse. This way I can just keep the laptop turned on and shut and have all the benefits of my nicer computer with the convenience of a desktop

Well, I got both but ever since I got my laptop I haven't really used my desktop one a lot. Its just that my desktop one is almost full with files and is rather old so its makes a lot more sense to use my laptop at home. I do use my desktop for certain things but that doesn't happen so often. I used to use my desktop for everything but kinda stop using it ever since I joined the uni and had to get a laptop so that I could do my homework for it and use it for other studies too.

I have both. I use my laptop at home and my desktop at work. I like them both for different reasons. When I'm doing creative writing, I like my laptop because I can get into a comfortable position on the sofa or at a coffee shop and just type for hours. But if I'm doing work, I like to be at my desk with a desktop computer and a full keyboard. Something about it feels more organized.

I have a desk computer and no laptop and i don't think i'll buy one soon. They have smaller screen and tend to overheat and you can't play games on laptop because usually they are slower and on top of all that they cost more than desktops for the same performance.

We have both available to us too! I prefer the desktop because it is tons faster and it is easier to controll then a laptop! I thought I would like a laptop better but found out very quick that I prefer desktop over laptop! Easy, easy, easy!!!
