Strange dream

I lay down for a bit of shut eye one afternoon and I dropped off, tho I didn't realize it until I woke up...
I dreamed I was sitting in a car, looking at a carriage with 2 bay horses, from behind. The driver was a nice looking gal and there was a kid sitting in the carriage, but wasn't doing anything.
Suddenly the horses started and started to bolt.
The driver tried to grab them, then ducked between them to try and grab the reins.
Suddenly, it wasn't 2 bay horses, it was a team of 8 dapple grays.
She was trying to get the reins, and was grabbing the tack of the horses so she could stop them, but fell.
Then I had run over when I saw the horses start and caught onto the carriage and pulled myself to the driver's seat and pulled the horses to a halt just before the driver was hurt.
Now, understand, I have ridden LOTS of horses, but never driven a team of any kind. So, its not OUTSIDE the realm of possibilities that I could get a team under control.
Still, it was an interesting dream and I discovered I had only slept about 15 minutes.
The cats were staring at me and I had drooled on the pillow...
weird huh?
had any weird dreams lately?

I have not been resting well lately, and do not remember any dreams. I can identify with dropping off, though, and waking to find a cat looking at me. I have one who is always determined to put me to sleep. I have another one who is always beside me or on me at the computer.

probably so, I sometimes find if I think too much about something I'll have a related dream, but I have no idea where the horses came from and it was strange enough in my dream that I noticed that the horses had changed from a bay pair to a team of 8 grays...

well i had one the other day
it was me and my Dreamt family me my wife and a daughter. im 17 i dont have a fam yet lol. So we were at the apartment and my wife says i want a baby boy. I told her we dont have the money and what not so in turn she say talk to the owner and ask if he can lower the bills. So im on my way and i get to his mansion.
Ok so i go in and there is this old guy with a hat and a whip i ask him if he could lower the bill for my family he said yes but under one condition you have to help me. He flips a switch and a cave opens up behind him. It Turns out this guy is INDIANA JONES old version lmao. SO we go in the cave jump holes dodge traps and right before and epic showdown with some guy my step dad wakes me up -_-

wow!
That sounds really exciting!
And I wouldn't mind meeting Indian Jones either.... (or Harrison Ford for that matter)
but a family - how odd - I once dreamed about a little girl, but I was kind of wanting to take her home, she wasn't my little girl, I was just trying to help her

I dreamed I was in a house that I used to rent - except it was, of course, different
The little girl was either hispanic or asian american mix and she was alone
I think I dreamed it because I had seen one of those "save the children" sort of shows where there was this adorable little girl in a refuge camp where the South Vietnamese were living.
I've never wanted a child, but I was considering taking this one home to raise because she needed someone
I've always said kids wouldn't be so bad once they were "house trained."

I had a wierd dream a couple of weeks ago, involving a flock of crows and a wedding dress. When I woke up there was a crow perched on the roof of the house and he was tapping his beak on the gutter. Strange

It sounds to me that you are used to dealing with one problem at a time, and are quite adept at dealing with problems when they shoot at you in single digits. However, you become overwhelmed when they shoot at you in double digits, or teams as these spooking horses. Also, as these horses are all teams of one color, I wonder if your problems are not related to each other or tethered?

I've worried about my mother for some time. My family seems to be dropping like flies and I don't have a big one.

I think you may be right. I don't deal with a lot of problems at the same time well and most of my problems are linked
I'm probably worrying a bit about mom too, since deaths seem to be coming in pairs and I lost a friend at the end of last month

I dreamt something last night that I was going to post about, but now for the life of me, I can't remember what it was. It wasn't anything too out there, it just gave me an idea for a discussion. Oh well, gone is gone.
As for your dream, sounds like you have things under control. Carry on!

Can see that from the way you described your dream. I believe in good dreams, it tells something. But for a bad one, I shall just tuck it in the dream dustbin. If this one feels good to you, then hang on to it, I'd say. Sometimes a good dream or a wondrous one would keep me talking and wondering for a few days. I would lie down and think about it..

hi yes I have had a weird dream off and on for several years.I am with friends ,and we women are eatingout, well I am anxious to start shopping but the others wanted to sit for awhile longer and chat. so we decided I would meet them in front of J.C Pennys store. I knew this store and the street like the back of my hand so no problem. only now I leave them and suddenly I am not in any city I am familiar with. I cannot find the street I want, let alone J.c Penny, and every where I ask they just looked blank at me. No don't know where thee J.C Penny store is.So I keep walking and suddenly I am in a construction zone where large earth movers are working and I have to walk between mound of earth. I find a building with an office on the bottom floor then , and first I ask the manager where is Balson street and J.C. Penneys he gives me a grin. over in the next town ma'am. this is NewPort Beach, you want Costa Mesa. best phone a cab ma'am. so I start phoning but wake up,look around and oh heaven I am not lost at all. It was just an awful dream

A while ago I dreamt that my husband took me to an expensive restaurant (yep, I really was dreaming!) and once we were given a table it turned out to be a small sofa and the waitress proceeded to shave my legs (???) while my husband was paying the hefty bill! Go figure...What the heck a dream like that would mean is beyond me but at least it wasn’t a bad one and I didn’t wake up disturbed or upset. My strange little dream was not as adventurous as yours; sounds like something about taking control I guess...Do you ever dream that you are trying to call a number but just get not get the number right or get through no matter what you do?

I don't normally remember my dreams, but some times I'll go thru a spate of remember lots of them - I had another that I remembered, but only for a little bit and it left...
I was having a dream this morning kind of based on the audio book I'm listening to in the car - The Beekeeper's Apprentice

Lately I dream that I need to do something on the computer and if I have to get up to go to the bathroom, I still feel like I need to do something but can't remember what.
I don't have nightmares or anything like that. I am handicapped and in my dreams I am normal and can run and jump but nothing like control a team of horses.

I guess all people with physical problems dream they are okay. My brother is in a wheelchair and he dreams he's normal too.

Hi ElicBxn, I find that dreams can be very fascinating and sometimes they even foretell future events. Sometimes too, a question can be answered in a dream if we are thinking about it. I've known for people to find things that they had lost by dreaming about where they had left it. Other dreams make no sense at all and may even come to us for entertainment. Those who believe in reincarnation feel that some dreams are scenes from a previous lifetime. I've had at least one dream that could fall into that category. Regardless of what we think about dreams, it can be interesting to remember them. Blessings.

I haven't had any in a bit. My daughter did tell me about one this morning that morphed a couple of field trips together and ended up with her going down a big slide and ended up with her in a pool. Something about a cave in there too....

Hi Elic,
Wow!! what a strange dream, but the way I see it, maybe what the dream is telling you that, you maybe doing too much or rushing around a lot, and that you have to pull a rein to it, take stock as you are doing far too much, you need a break.

I have dreamed that I was dreaming. In my dream that I was dreaming, I dreamed that I was sitting on top of our roof and I saw a plane, much like a Boeing 747 or something big like that, that is flying towards our street. I noticed that it's coming closer to our house and it withing a few seconds I was running because it's gonna hit our house. Boom it hit our house including me. Then I woke up but I though I really woke up becuase I was in my room, on my bed, but I felt strange like I was floating and then I woke up again. This time I really woke up because I can feel everything I touch unlike before and I really felt exhausted. It's no joke. Just want to share.

sounds like you might've been having one of those dreams where you are almost awake, the first "wake up" episode might've been getting from the one stage of sleep to the next and then you finally woke up
I do know about waking and feeling exhausted - I've had dreams where I'm running and when I wake up I feel like I really HAVE run miles like in my dream!
