What is administration Registry in the system? / myLot

hi mylot friends,you are aware that i do not know basics of computer with my recent discussions of computer troubles,i does not know the administration registry,what is it and is it compulsory to register and what is the use of that?any body from my come forward to teach me a little basics in computer and net,i am saying advance thanks

i assume your pc os is windows because registry is part of window based os. in registry window stores all critical information related installed software, their serial information, folder, file types related with software they can open with etc. if registry is corrupted one need to reinstall everything.
