We have 2 computers. Mine is the new one and been trying to get the files sent from the old one to this one. So I download something to transfer files and I can't figure out how to use it. Any way I finally gave up and just emailed them to myself. Boy is that a chore. I keep most of them on cd's but this new computer wasn't recgonizing the cd's. I got that fixed too though now. Any way I was wondering if any of you had a good ideal on how to transfer files? From me to me on 2 different computers?

sometimes setting up LAN connections can be tiring :D
thats why, i use a software called Ultra VNC.
its a VNC software, through which you can control a client pc from a host pc. just install the software on both the pc's. start the client and admin mode in the respective pc's. then enter the target ip address. (u can find your system(s) ip addresse(S) at www.whatismyip.com
for more info, refer to their user documentation.
