Are you still keeping the name of your friends on your list who are not active?

I checked my friend's list the other day and I've found lots of them who are not active anymore. They just sign in like a year ago or many months ago. I delete those people on my list. To me, what's the use of keeping them there while they are no longer here? So now I am open to new friends who are active and really respond to the topic I posted that interests them. What about you? do you still keep them on your list even if they no longer exist?

My list is still intact. I have not deleted anyone except for only few whose discussions and actions somewhat offended me in one way or another. But the inactive ones are still there. Maybe because I can't find enough time. Maybe one of these days, I'd do the same as you did. I will not only delete those who are inactive but even those who are active but whose friendship I could not even feel. You know what I mean. There are friends who are so busy posting their own topics and after I've shown good support I could not even receive any support in return. Well they deserved to be deleted one of these days. If I do that, then maybe very few of them will be left! Ha!ha!ha!ha!ha!

hahaha!!! Oh please don't include me friend.. hehehe... that's right!! I understand what you mean. there are lots in my list that I don't even know them and as you said, don't even feel that they are there. It's useless to keep friends who are not acting like one. better take them out to make room for the new comers.

yes i still keep inactive friends in my list. actually, i don't have the time to check who is active or not. i don't even know a lot of them except those whom i directly refer. it actually doesn't matter that much to me.

Hey Bebs! I should go and clean out my inactive friends too!
I have so many that I know are inactive and not coming back
but I just hate to delete anyone! I have way too many of them
and really need to do the same thing! I just have to set my
mind to cleaning out my friends list and get rid of the inactive
ones once and for all! It is just so sad to me to have to delete
them! But, you are right and I really need to do it too!

hahaha I hope I did not make any influence in your decision to clean your list of inactive friends. I just do that to make room for new friends who are actively participating here. what's the use of keeping friends who are not here? We need friends who are alive and can response to our discussion right?

I keep them in my list even though they are not active, if they are no longer here then I delete from the list. It does not bother me just because they are inactive, they might have a problem with a job or other things so they cannot come.

I haven't deleted any of my friends...Actually, I haven't even checked to see if any of them had gone inactive, lol. It doesn't really bug me that much. I usually look for friends' discussions through the tab, so it doesn't if the inactive ones aren't posting anything, it doesn't really bug me.

Well, I had lots of pages on my friend;s list and I don't even know all of them.. hahaha... I don't look whether the discussion I am responding to is from them or not as long as I am interested in that certain topic, whoever is the one who posted it, doesn't matter to me.

I have only just returned to MyLot after a long absence and am delighted to see so many of my old friends still here. I have checked my friends list and although there are a few no longer active, I would not delete them in case they return.

Yes, I have not deleted any friend in my list. There's no harm in keeping all of them, even those inactive ones so why delete them? Instead, the higher the count of number, the more positive for me, it's better looking. And those inactive friends doesn't always mean that they will be inactive forever. Like me, I joined myLot about more than 3 years ago, I was been active for a few weeks, then turned inactive for several months, then decided to be active again for few months, then turned inactive again for 2 years, then decided to come back again, so it's like an on and off for me. So you will really never know if they will still come back, so better to keep them. For me, I have no problem in keeping inactive friends, I am open to be friends by anyone, the more the better. Have a nice day! Happy myLotting!

Well, it's up to you. But to me, I have decided to do that. I want to have friends who are active I mean when they have like 100 posts for more than a year? I considered them inactive. I can remember, you invite me as your friend. I accept the invitation but if I the moment I check again my list and you are not here for more than a year? I might delete you? hahahah [

Actually I've performed a big clean up some weeks ago. Until that, I was having lots of inactive friends on my list. It started to disturb me, because there were so many friends so it was hard to find the one I wanted to. I usually check if the friend has been active lately before deleting him, and if not, I remove him from my list.

Hi, I have never deleted a friend from my list and I never refused anyone who wanted to be a friend mine.Is enough space for thousands of names there, why I delete?
And then, may be they back, and I m I returned after a longer period after it I had family problems. And I hope nobody's deleted me from the list.

I never refused anybody who invited me to be a friend but when they are not here for a long time like more than a year? I have so say goodbye to them much more if they just want me to be a friend so that they can recruit me as down line to some of their networking online? I will delete them right away. hehehe

As far as I am concerned, I seldom delete the name of my friends on my list who are not so active to me.No matter how active they are,but I will still want to make friends with them.I think ,if they have time to be here, and I am just here ,too.I think I can chat with her or him ,which we will enjoy our friendship. That is really wonderful.

Contacts are always important, this is what i believe. So even my friends not active, i do keep them in list. I atleast send a hello! or good day! to them.
I feel, they will check out any time in life and remembers that they had a friend and at any emergencies or important cases, they may need us.

I go through them every 2 month or so and the ones that haven't been there for more than 2 month I delete. Sometimes I wait a little longer in case they on a vacation or having some sort of computer problems or other things going on in there lives.
I'm glad you still there

That's what am doing. I just want to keep active friends on my list. I have nothing against them. It is just my own policy to have that.. hahahaha... sorry for those who doesn't like it. We have our own opinion and decision. We are in a free country so, we are free to do what we want.

You mean friends here? well i don't delete them even if it takes them years inactive, besides I am not being deducted on my points whether I keep them nor delete them.
Most friends I have here, I don't personally know, the fact that I keep them is for getting newsletters that they responded to a discussion or not, but I don't even have to worry if they even don't participate, it will never affect my earnings here.
I am only concern if someone from my list have been seriously spamming me on invitations to such scam sites. Probably I will have to be alert on that one, but luckily nobody here does that yet, else you know more what to do right. Happy Mylotting.

Yes. Once I add a friend, I don't delete them. I treasure them even I don't know most of them personally. I guess the essence of having sites as mylot, facebook & friendster, to name a few is to for us to find new acquaintances and friends--and to keep them. I understand that you want your topics to be read and responded (the reason why we keep on posting discussions, do you agree with me?); but sometimes some of your friends will be too busy, sometimes they have to attend to their personal lives, at times they have to fixed some matters, and so on. They are still there, not just as active as you but surely, they will find time to respond as soon as they are free to do so. There's nothing wrong to be open to active users and new friends, it's a way of broadening your horizon...but if you can (please don't take this negatively, it's just my opinion), why not keep them? Unless they've done bad things on you, of course. That's different side of the story.
Good Luck & Godspeed!
