If you were given a surprise test on the last book you read for pleasure

definitely an A... Last book I finished was Marley and Me, just because I never saw the movie and was interested in it... currently I am reading Stardust... which I know I would get an A on as well; thats the whole point :) if you are reading the book on your own terms, you tend to like it better and absorb more of the information.

Welcome to MyLot!! I would get a A-. I read a diet book and learned A LOT, but I wouldn't get an A+ because I didn't read through allll the recipes. Half the book was recipes and I figure I can do that later! What book did you read? Bear

Oh I would definitely get an A. I read only for my own pleasure now, so that means any book I read, I am very interested in it. It is nice to read solely because I want to, and not because I have to, like I did when I was in high school or college.

I'm going to give myself a B, just because it takes me so long to get through one book, because work, and life always seem to get in the way!!
