the reasons to smoke changed deppending on the person: some of us smoke to "be" and "pretend" be more old; smoke in difficult situations like an scape, others because learned when they were children seeing somebody in the family, others started when they were teens and smoke where nobody could see them, others just wanted to know what has the cigarrete the "special", and more reasons that doesnt matter.. but the reason is not more important if u compare that you were killing you life little by little, and is bad for your body and your heallthy..
but althrought knowing this, do you still smoking everyday? do you became an addict of tabaco?
do you never feelthat althroug this, your body ask u to smoke?
thanks for the responses!

I smoke once in a while. Specially when it's very cold or I have nothing else to do. But before I used to smoke half a pack a day. I find it easier to control if nobody else is smoking, but if there is someone else smoking I'd try it again. Then stop for a month or so. The longest I stopped was 1 year.

I personally don't smoke, as I am an asthmatic. I know some asthmatics do, but I don't. I have tried a cig or two in the past, not a whole one....but it jsut doesn't suit me to be honest.

I don't smoke, alilin. Ever since I don't like to smoke and never in my mind to try it out.
I have no vices at all and some of my friend said that i am a straight person. They tell me a joke that "since you have no vices. There is one thing for sure they said"
But I am agree on that in some other cases and not agree always...
Smoke is really bad for health even I am not sure for that. Because I rely only on the conception of the doctors and scientist that study about the implication of that vices...

I know it's bad for me, I have known smoking is bad for me for years, I know that I should stop, I have tried several times to stop, but each time I try to quit the little nicotine demons kick my cravings harder and harder. I am addicted and I know it. No matter what I try or how hard I try, I still smoke.

No no no!!!! I do not smoke and would never smoke! I find smoking to be terribly disgusting. The way I see it is why would I want to smoke? It is nasty and if you look at people who do smoke then you know they look terrbile most of the time and they smell terrible. Why would anyone want to look and smell terrible. I put a vote in for do not smoke! If you already smoke try your very best to stop! If I could (and I know some people will be mad but I am saying it amy way!!!) completely outlaw smoking and stop all production of all smoking materials it would be great in my opinion. Smoking is bad!!!!!

Smoking became a habit when I was in college. I started in high school then I became addicted. Since most of my friends smoke, the more I got the chance to heighten the level. Until now, I still smoke at coffee breaks with my co-workers. Although I go to the gym and tried to live healthy, I still cannot remove my smoking.

Oh yes, I'm definately a smoker. I started when I was 15 and only then because my friends did and I wanted to fit in. I'm 50 now and still smoking. I know the risks and have lost both of my parents to lung related deaths and still I find myself lighting up. So if you aren't hooked yet, then put them down and never pick one up again.
