I just figured out something foolish I've been doing in my lot.
I was wondering how tagging works. I always thought that space separates the tags but just recently, I READ the instruction clearly and found out that we had to separate tags with commas!
Anyone ever made the same mistake? Sorry, Just looking for foolish ones like me who don't read instructions. LOL

Proper tagging is very important. As you can see that so many of discussions are being created regularly at regular intervals by our fellow mylotters so,tagging is a feature, that is provided by this site,so that it can helps us to find a discussion easily by putting only the keywords to the discussions in the search field.
Yes!! We will have to put commas between two key words it is very important otherwise tag doesn't works. You would better be careful from the next time.
I prefer putting the tags always. Sometimes it is also hard to find just the right keywords to use to tag the discussions, but in those cases I try to be as accurate as I can. It isn't mandatory to tag, but if you want to find a discussion easier, long after it is created, then in my opinion, its better to put the tags. It helps in finding the discussion, among all other discussion in a same common Interest.
AA the best and Happy mylotting.

I do not know about this, either. It is your article that make me know something about it. I think many of us do not read the instrucions of mylot so carefully. So maybe it is time for us to read it carefully again and try to follow the rules and make mylot a better place. Have a nice day!

I guess its a common mistake. Just hope others like us get to read this so that they won't be making the same mistakes again. Good Day!

It's an understandable mistake to make, especially since sites treat tagging differently. On Delicious, for instance, tags are space separated! However, I like using comments to separate tags because it lets you enter multiple word tags easily.

I agree. Iwas actually going to do a multiple word tag and read the instructions to find out how, then lo and behold, I've been tagging it the wrong way from the beginning! haha
But its all good now, at least I know better.

Yeah as a first timer in myLot I was I did the same mistake as you did and I quickly check the FAQ if I did violations. Luckily it wasn't in the TOS. Was it there? I didn't see it Anyways it is normal to make mistakes. We are only human but at least your mistakes are being corrected.
