Do you know your neighbors?

I have lived here nine months and only know two neighbors. Where we lived before for nine years I did not know anyone.

We have lived here for a year and a half and know three of our neighbors. But, we are in an apartment complex; people are in and out frequently---out of the three that we know, only one was here when we first moved in.

No I am a very very private person. My domain is my space. I will be pleasent to them but I refuse to get into their lives.
