To that effect, I am going to ask some questions of you my dear friends, answer at your own peril, and be warned, it is not often you get asked questions quite this powerful. and if your curious about that, be sure to ask me.
1-What do you do professionally?
2-What is the story behind how you got started in that profession?
3-What do you enjoy most about what you do?
4-What separates your company from your competition?
5-What advice would you give someone just starting in your profession?
6-What one thing would you do with your business if you know you couldn't fail?
7-What significant changes have you seen take place in your profession through the years?
8-What do you see as the coming trends in your profession?
9-Describe the strangest(or funniest) incident you have ever experienced in your business
10-What ways have you found to be the most effective for promoting your business?
11-What one sentence would you like people to use in describing the way you do business?
and finally - How can I know if someone I am speaking to would be a good prospect for you?
Thank you for your time, I appreciate and believe in you!

I've been in the hospitality industry for twenty years. Managing restaurants for the last 15. Various positions of leadership i.e. general manager, brewmaster, executive chef. I live in Florida and recently just moved across the state to finish my education. I needed a part time job, but with the present state of the local economy, it was tough finding employment that suited my needs. I'm grossly overqualified for part time work. Managers that interviewed me thought I was broken or something because I didn't want to take on a management role. So I got fed up and created a niche for myself. I'm a student, a tutor, and I write content for e-zines & websites. I've got another venture in the works for this spring too. I create low maintenance, edible landscaping for people. I've already got clients. It's environmentally friendly, and it can knock a lot of money off of a homowner's grocery bill. If you're already making a mortgage payment, and you have a yard you might as well use it. Most people don't realize that many veggies, fruits, and herbs make beautiful landscaping. There's a strong back to basics, grassroots interest in the market right now that isn't being met. This way I can have the flexibility in my schedule that I need, do something I love, and my endeavors should sustain me until I get my M.A.

Wowzer.
That is a lot. Based on what I read, I would believe you to be an open and direct person, always wearing something stylish, talking loud and fast, filling the silences in conversations (because they are all uncomfortable) and always looking to have some fun. But, that is just my opinion.
What did you enjoy most about hospitality? What is your M.A for? What do you enjoy most about that? Herbs are great landscape, I totally agree, peas for climbers, but you knew that I am sure, my parents did that all up the one side of our house one year. It was neat-o. Love the Edible landscaping deal, what do you like most about that? What works the best for you there? Is that a year round thing in Florida? What kind of content do you write?
Thanks for your time I appreciate you.

Now, These questions I ask are based on relationship building in Network Marketing. What do you know about Network Marketing? I did notice the trend oddly enough, which means my training in awareness and paying attention must be paying off. Nature and management, leadership, it is all great. Self reliance, Self Dependency, Personal Freedom we call it "owning your life" and you do it quite well.
What did you feel when answering these questions? Do you understand how they can be an effective tool for relationship building? You probably do it naturally and wouldn't even think about it, unless someone asked, which is the reason that I asked, in case you wondering.
Thank you for your time, I appreciate and admire you.

I'm going to take your queries in order (more or less). I love hospitality because cooking and cutting edge business tactics are a great creative outlet for me. In order to survive in any service industry you have to think outside of the box. I have a B.A. in Biology and I'm banging out another B.A. in Leadership and Organizational Management. My M.A. will be focused towards the same title, just more specialized. It's geared towards sustainability, green management, and real estate management. The edible landscaping is just a great fit for my interests. There is a need in the market for people that can do it well & few that can fill the demand. It's self serving, so far as, I believe we can create a self sustaining environment one yard at a time. I just want to show people how to create an environment that isn't a hobby. It's a lifestyle. I focus on decreasing the demand on grocery stores, while increasing independence and healthy living. Normally, I would say it's almost year round in my part of Florida, but this year has been unusually cold. I live a little north of Clearwater. If you were a bit more south it would be year round. Most things grow here. I even have success with hybridized versions on blueberries & blackberries. As far as content, it's a mixed bag. I wrote a couple of articles on birds last week. Before that I wrote a few articles about management practices. You're probably noticing a trend with me. I've married my interests, education, and work experience so that they all compliment each other. I can't tell you how many times I've submitted old papers as copy for a website. I strive for a specific balance of autonomy, passion, creativity, success, and free time. None of these endeavors are individually over-taxing, as long as I can maintain a little harmony among them...if that makes any sense.

I work on discharge planning here at a mental health Baker Act receiving facility in my city. I really enjoy what I do. The daily job is unpredictable and it helps me to appreciate what I have a lot more. Many people that come into the facility rage from competent to incompetent some have family support and some don't. This job is a lot within itself but it is very rewarding! I could not have chosen a better place to begin working after graduating college!!

Short, sweet, and not to the point.
With out going into personal details, what kind of office work do you do? What do you enjoy most about? What do you enjoy most about being an artist? What do you do with your art that works? What makes that work so well? What would be ideal? What is missing that could make your ideal real? What resources do you need to make it ideal?
Use that as a starting guide, use it in everything, especially, "What do I know is already right/working? What is it that makes it right/work?
Ask yourself those two questions for everything you do...then ask the third What would be ideally right...and watch the next to get filled in..Maybe not right at first, but if you keep asking, What is right? What makes that right?
Magic my friend. Choose The Right.

Back to accounting then? Have you considered doing that from your home, independently? If so, what do you enjoy most about accounting, aside from the stability? What sets you aside from your competition? Etc.
Thanks, I appreciate you.

I am a teacher by profession and I experienced teaching as a school teacher for a year last year. I experienced teaching elementary students, high school and college. As a teacher, I am very small and petite and my college students never respected me as their teacher so I was very strict in my class with them and they never saw me smile. Now, I am still a teacher but I am now teaching online. I have a passion for teacher and I love my job as a teacher.

What do you enjoy most about being a teacher? I am looking for some good teachers to join me in my efforts of developing leaders. It takes a different stance then you may be used to, and I focus solely on "What is right?" and "What makes that right?"
I am looking to develop leaders to join me in my Network Marketing Business. What do you love to teach most? What do you do that works? What makes that work so well?

Hello CJscott I am engineer in electronics, I decided to go to the engineering school when i was a teenager I always liked math and physics, so I though it was going to be a very good fit for me, and it was I love my career. The thing I like more about my job is that I have the opportunity to work for one of the biggest semiconductors company in the world so I love to design new circuits that goes into devices that are used by a lot of people like console video games and cellphones. My company, is very diverse, there are a lot of different projects going on, and it is very stimulating for the professionals there because you have a lot of different projects that you can work on. Right now this is not the best moment for my profession, the prices of all electronic devices has been dropping in the last 10 years, so the business has been tough, but those are challenges that we have to go thought

You were doing so good Laura. I am so happy that you found a career you love.
What is right about the prices of electronics dropping? What makes that right? What would be ideal? What is missing that if it were in place would make your ideal, real? What resources do you need to make it ideal?
I will help, if it is less expensive, more people buy the product. That is not to say the cheapest products are the most popular, but, many people want products they can not afford.
Diversity is a great thing, thank you so much for stopping by. I appreciate you.

What I meant by you were doing so good, is that your most of your story was all positive, I really like to focus on what is right/working and what makes that right/work. Try it sometime, you may find a whole new way to approach your next project
-check out this site - http://clearpurpose.com - The total of a 30 minute investment could improve your productivity 1000fold. Maybe not, but, you will notice a difference.
So when I saw, This is not the best moment, I felt my energy drain a little, not much, but a little, I wish you the best with your challenges.

I spend most of my time as a mom. My other job that pays financially is a cashier. I got the job to help pay the bills since I'd been home for 5yrs with the kids and life was getting too tight moneywise. Before I was a Mom I was a loan officer in training. I'm hoping to get back into banking or somewhere that pays better once all my kids are in school full time.

Cheers.

1. I am a stay at home mom.
2. We were surprised with twins and couldn't afford child care for both of them, and my husband makes more money at his job than I did.
3. Not having a time frame to stick to really. I have the freedom to make plans as I choose and be in or out when I want.
4. Supposedly it's the most rewarding career... though I've yet to see many rewards, lol.
5. It's hard to hold on to girlfriends once you start your family, but you have no idea what a life saver they'll be!!
6. um... I'll have to get back to you on that one
7. Changes? Ha Ha... well, as the kids get older the challenges differ, but that's about it
8. Much of the same for the next 10 years or so..
9. Too many to count.. I guess one of the times the kids tattled on their sibling "Tyler said F***" that's always funny.
10. Not applicable...

Wow, you did pretty good. Neat questions eh, What did you feel when you were thinking about your answers? What do you think made you feel that way?
You will see many rewards, when they are grown, and they become the great people they all ready are, to so many others.
You wouldn't promote being a mom eh. To some it is the best thing ever and it is all they can talk about. I can understand the last question not being applicable, but really who would you want to recruit/sponsor into being a Mom, a side from your wife...
Cheers, thank you for your time, I appreciate you. If you build a business, ie: referrals make you money...try asking a few of these questions to potential clients.

I am not really a professional, or certified for anything, but I will answer a few of your questions anyway.
I work in the Kennels at a local veterinary clinic. My mother made the comment that I was looking for somewhere to work, and it was offered that I start working there. I started working every other weekend (eight hours every two weeks), but now I am working twenty-five hours per week, soon around forty per week.
As a kennel, I get to work closely with the boarding animals, as well as animals that are recovering from illnesses and surgeries. My favorite part of my job is seeing an animal that came in sick go home on the road to recovery. That, and puppies and kittens. We do the occasional C-section, and hearing the cries of a newborn puppy or kitten is a great feeling.
We are different because we treat clients and their pets as more than numbers on a chart. Everybody has a name. We are genuinely excited to see the pets and we treat everybody as friends and family. This is what makes us successful. We have given complementary baths, nail trims, ear cleanings, and other frills to pets that frequently board or visit, and/or if their owner is nice and appreciative.
If you want to work as a kennel, or at a vet clinic in general, you have to have a lot of tolerance and patience with the animals. There are a lot of animals that come in that do not want to cooperate, and you have to work with that. Animals can bite and scratch, and you have to practice safety measures- pay attention, recognize behaviors. Furthermore, it is a very active position. You do not have to be "fit" (I certainly am not) but you have to be able to keep up.

Thank you so much for choosing to respond to my discussion. I really appreciate you for that.
That was very well worded, and will be valuable to anybody looking to get in to the Kennel business. Isn't it the greatest feeling in the world to know, you have made a positive difference in this life of a person or animal?
Cheers.

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome, thanks for responding, you missed a few questions. But that is okay, they are designed for something else. What did you feel when thinking about your answers to the questions?
What do you think about the questions in general? ...What are you hoping to take, when you advance beyond high school?
I appreciate you.
