Hi msfrancisco, I can remember saying that when I last worked in Australia, and even in Thailand, when Friday was our day-off. However, now I'm retired, all days are much the same, except payday, so it's a little different now. I'm just looking forward to the day I can rejoin my wife, in December.

Hi Sunny,
whew...that's a lot of making up activites for yourself of course for your friends. so, you love shopping too and wow..branded items, but you are smart enough to have it during sales and promos in malls.
we have something in common in some activities during the weekend friend. i am just curious to know what time do you go to bed and give yourself some rest and how about having an extended sleep do you? nice hearing from you again. have a great weekend. more toasts for the weekend too

thanks for sharing your sleeping ritual and the twist in sleep hours.
well, good for you to be receiving messages from the store where you can have your branded shirts or clothes. here in our country, you have to be keen and read newspapers to check schedules of sales. although, malls also announced it and make banners about their promo schedules for the month.

We try to limit our selves until we get new Offers on the branded ones---we just give our number and they would inform us about the latest offers.we go as a bunch and buy lots of clothes its a lot of business for him.
As soon my clock ticks 11 in the night i go to sleep and i rarely get out of sleep lately in the mornings except those days when i'm totally drunk.

Hi, msfrancisco9369. One time I dreaded when Friday would be coming in. But now, I wish for it every weekend because of my son being in school. He has homework everyday at school, except on Friday's. And I need a serious break from this. I have two daughters that I take care of why he is in school and I crave the weekend to come in. I can get many of my chores done. And, I have a little bit more of free time on my hands.

Hi Cream,
I envy you for being a hands on mom and wife. i always long for that time to come when all i need to think and do is to be a full-time mom and wife. you are blessed that you have all the time for your family.
i agree with you, we moms need a break, to recharge (though we will still be working onother things but at least a break from the routine schedule and chores) and be ready again for another week's challenges. you are a cool mom. thanks for responding friend!

hello winky!
looks like you have a nice friday and really have something to look forward to...
well with me, friday is just an ordinary day! haha actually i am not really looking forward to it coz its my schedule to do the laundry! hehe
but when i was still working, of course i always look forward to this day coz its either my office mates & i have some gimmick (which happen just once in a while)...but what i like most on fridays is its a time to go home and have rest with my family ( i am living in a boarding house before)
now, i am looking forward more on mondays! hehe coz its my day off! (in the house)
time to go out with my friend, or just stay at home by myself! so relaxing day for me! and not to mention...time to received my allowance!

Hi CK,
I was on sick leave yesterday. but it was a great friday for me. am not really feeling well but i tried to go to the gym for my regular workout. So, I went to the gym late afternoon for our friday aerobics, then as i reached home our massage therapist was already in the house and i had an hour of whole body massage same with my husband. then this morning i woke up late. took my kids to the grocery and treat them with their favorite jollibee chicken joy.
in the afternoon, my husband asked me for a date and surprised me with an airbed and a dvd player with karaoke. he too bought me two pairs of gym outfit and higlighted it with a dinner in a seafood restaurant. what a feeling...i love it. a post valentine celebration ha...i need to do something tonight to make up right?!
so are you still working tomorrow--Sunday? anyways, make the most of your off this coming monday okay? hugs!

Hi Goldz,
Welcome to Mylot!
I know what you mean friend...weekend is a housechore and general cleaning day for us but at least the pressure is lesser. you can spare it if you want and you can do it at your own pace.
being with friends is a break. more time to talk, laugh and enjoy each other's company and not so tied up with time. so, have a great weekend friend and thanks for responding. more power to you and have fun here in mylot!

Hi Winky,
So you are on the weekly holiday mood and catching the left over sleep but for us it is on Sunday dear. There is no excitement on Friday because Saturday is also working day for me. Only relaxing news is Saturday is holiday for my son so no tension in the morning to wake him up so early etc. Enjoy your weekend dear.

Hi Sreekala,
I'm glad to see you here. Ah okay. so you only have one off day every week. so you really have to enjoy and that one day and make up for some rest, sleep, and other things that you need to do to keep you energize and be ready for a new week of work challenges.
I am enjoying the weekend. Actually we just came from our weekly family activities and it was really fun!

Hi Homeshoppers,
Yes...it's a sign of relief from all the stress from work the whole week. a time to party or plan on any relaxation moment for self and with friends.
extended sleep is the best for me the next day...no worries of being caught in the traffic and being late.
thanks for responding. have a great weekend!

Well, my week is not quite over today for this week. Still have some things to do tomorrow but after that, I get the next week off. So, once tomorrow is over, than I will be celebrating. However nine times out of ten, I really look forward to Fridays. There is a sense of accomplishment in many ways. Everything that was ahead of me during this week is done. Then I can sit back and relax for the next two days. Which sadly often goes too quick a lot of the time. Still, while this week is not quite over for me until tomorrow most of the time I really look forward to what Friday brings me.
