policy of honesty

hey mylotters can you say about honesty.
whether honesty is best policy or honesty is the most convenient policy? i think it is most convenient policy of your life. i would like to hear it from you. if you describe it shall be best here.

yes if honesty hurts you can honestly tell the person that you didn't mean to hurt him/her. i would love to be honest. but in love and war every thing is fair. you can apply dishonesty to get some one but at last you will have to tell her the truth.

In the short term, honesty can be very inconvenient. There are times you don't want to hurt someone else with the truth, or perhaps you don't want the hassle that will come from a boss or loved one finding out you messed up. In the longer term, however, I do believe honesty is both morally better and less inconvenient than juggling lies and covering up things you 'forgot' because someone else didn't want to hear the truth.

yes honesty is always inconvenient policy at the beginning but lastly it is the most convenient policy. you won't face any sort of problem in future if you shall be honest to your work. you will get attention by your co-workers and respect as well. whenever it comes to a selfish matter we all lose our honest and do which will benefice us. if you follow the honest policy then you shall face problem and you shall not be able to do work most conveniently. but if you follow the honesty policy then you will be in win win condition next time. no one shall have power to suppress you and that would be most convenient policy.

hi shambhukumar, well for me when you say Honesty, it is sincere, truthful and trustworthy. and we are asked to do so and live our life with it.
I would rather chose the phrase most convenient policy, because , I usually hear Honesty is the best policy and is so common. People sometime would not mind to
understand if repetitive words are said.
I was thought by my parents to live life in a honest way. Living an honest life will give you peaceful life.

you could catch the point dear. you could catch what i mean to say by these words. i wanted to catch the attention of people. Here i got this much of response on this topic. by saying honesty is the most convenient policy i could remind people that honesty is necessary in your life.

Ninety nine percent of the time, honesty is the best policy. People who lie about things, it will catch up with them. Even the best organized person cannot keep out a charade forever. Therefore, I try and be honest for the vast majority. Obviously, there are times where I leave out information, unless someone asks. If they do, then I will be honest. If not, I will just not bring it up.
Still there are times where we might have to be less than honest. There are special circumstances where honesty can hurt. Still it has to be done, but there are times where honesty is so brutally honest that the information has to be sugar coated as much as possible. It is important to be honest but there are exceptions where we have to be less honest.

I believe you won't get anywhere by lying to people. The best thing to do is to be honest with everyone you encounter. Honesty is sometimes not as convenient as you think because if someone asks a question and you want to figure it out you may have to go ask multiple people to figure out the answer.

it is necessary to be honest to every people. if you are honest to any work then it is going to be most convenient. you shall not face any problem in doing so. but it can't be best as some times you had to tell a lie to benefit others. in that lie we know that person is not going to lose something but other is going to get something. so it is most convenient policy.
