is there something i can download to upgarde it at one of the online free sites, cause i do enjoy watching old movies as well as new ones, and i like to watch alot of tv shows as well. can anyone help me or know where i can get the help.

Let it be any movie or video, it always take time for them to buffer... and if at all you have problem then u have to increase your RAM and you have to install the latest version of Adobe Flash Player...

Reading the comments about your laptop, you just wouldn't need to change anything, however it does sound like you're on a slow connection if the problem was occurring with your emachine.
Are you possibly sharing the connection with others?
If so, then you may want to download the streaming videos.
Orbit Downloader is an option for downloading streaming videos to watch later on, it has a tool called Grab++. I'll generally do this to download a majority of the videos I'd otherwise watch online. Since Orbit is a multithreaded downloading program, I'll get videos in at least have the time I would. Usually I'll do this for Youtube Videos where some take years to play, but seconds to download.
You'll probably need a media player as well so K-Lite Codecs has one of the best, if not best player around, alternative VLC Player is just as good. That is, if you're going to download streaming movies for later viewing.

It's buffering. Basically to let you play your video right away you will be able to watch the beginning without waiting for the entire video to load. Some computers can keep up with loading while your watching, some are too slow to and simply can not.
The best thing you can do is pull up the video, pause it, and then go have a cup of coffee. Come back a few minutes later and enough should be loaded that you should be fine. It's either do that or buy a newer, faster computer.

That's called buffering. It means that the entire movie you are trying to view is slowly being downloaded to your computer. The only way to reduce the "buffering" would get a higher speed internet connection. There is no way you could stop a movie from buffering unless you downloaded it to your computer or had faster internet.
When I have buffering issues, I pause the video and go do something else for a while. The movie will continue to buffer in the background, but its a lot less noticeable. When you replay the video, then it'll play seemsly without any interuption.
