I am using windows 7 and I am not a fan of it. It has some errors. One of the errors I have experienced in Windows 7 was on safely removing a usb device. I have searched on ways to fix it but there are some who says its about the storage device that I use and others say its about the operating system, now I don't know what to do with it.

Windows XP is now used at most offices, homes, etc.
Wiundows Vista is a failed operating system. People are not adopting it for several reasons. Major reason is that it uses a lot of system resources. you need lot of ram and hard disk space to run it otherwise it will run very slow. Windows 7 is a newer version and it takes less hard disk space and requires lesser RAM and CPU resource.
Still XP is very common and people are still buying it despite Windows Vista and Windows 7 are in the market.

I haven't tried Windows 7, from early reports it sounds promising, but not so much that I feel the need to switch to it. Ultimately, if the majority of software requires Windows 7 then I'll make a switch. For now, I'm more than satisfied with Windows XP.
As for Vista, it's a piece of junk

Hi there. I have Windows 7 Starter Edition installed on my notebook and Window XP Home Premium edition installed on our desktop. Each operating system has its own advantages and disadvantages. However, I really like the stability of Windows XP and the (relatively) low system requirements needed to run it. On the other hand, I'm really growing to like the look and "feel" of Windows 7 and am glad that my notebook came pre-packaged with it. Otherwise, I still would've stuck with XP. My sister had a horrible experience when trying out Vista on her laptop so I'm not exactly a fan of that particular operating system. (Though, after searching on the web, it seems I'm not alone in that - not being a fan of Vista, that is.) All in all, I'm glad Windows released Windows 7. Just hope the upgrade becomes cheaper so I could afford it.

I have not used Windows 7 as of yet but I have used Windows XP and Windows Vista. I would have to say of the two that I have tried so far I liked Windows XP much better than Windows Vista. I do not currently have Windows on my macbook, though I did have Windows XP on it for a while and found that I like my mac better and that it is more secure. I may get Windows 7 for my laptop because it sounds interesting and possibly better of the Windows systems.

I have windows7 and I'm not a happy camper. There is no way to access the free ftp space that all isp's have (at least for now they have it). In other words Windows 7 has a bug in it that was worked out on Vista. At the same time most isp's are trying to get people to pay extra every month to have a website. On tose websites most people will only do what they can already do for free. That is if windows and the isps don't take it away from us.

I have a desktop with xp on it and the laptop I am suing right now, has windows 7. I really l really like windows 7 as I haven't had any problems with it so far. I think it is better than xp or vista. I did have a vista laptop, but I sent that to my grandson as he didn't have a laptop, and I guess he does like it, but I haven't talked to him as he lives far away from me in another state. I think vista is bad, as it has lots of problems. I think it was released way to soon, and it was buggy all the time. That is my opinion anyway. I prefer windows 7 myself, but others won't agree and that is okay. Take care and happy mylotting.
