Night Owl or Early Bird?

I often tell myself in the evenings to go to bed early only to give in and stay up late anyway. Sometimes I find myself rationalizing out a reason to stay up another hour (just like a kid) and tell myself, o.k. just one more hour. Then another, and another. I guess I'm just a night owl. I guess if you stay up all night, you go from one bird to the other? And doesn't an owl also get the worm? Either way, I just opened up a whole other can of worms! What kind of bird are you?

Early bird does get the worm, but then again, the second mouse gets the cheese!
I can't stand getting up early, and I love staying up late, and even more than both of those, I love sleep. So I think it's safe to say I'm a night owl... especially now that I'm a myLot member, I'm constantly up doing stuff and the times I would be going to sleep I'm checking my myLot.
Have a good time staying up!

I'm a night owl and an early bird. I like to stay up late, but sometimes I like to get up early. Most of the time it's stay up late though. I'm not sure what you consider late. It's midnight here, and we're about to go to bed.

That's nice perspective of the owl getting worms.....but i prefer the early bird coz when i sleep late and wake up late i really do feel like a couch potato where you dont want to move anymore from your bed and just stay there...but if i sleep early and wake up early i accomplish alot more thing in the morning.

Yeah, sometimes I feel better when I get things done in the morning instead of the night time. On the other hand, sometimes I'll stay up real late doing stuff and still get up really early. Those days kill two birds with one stone but require an even larger amount of coffee than I already consume!

In my younger days I could be at work all day and then out late a night. I used to go clubbing at the weekends and crawl home in the daylight on Sunday morning, I could stay up all night having fun. These days I find that if I don't get at least six hours sleep every night then I am definitely shattered for the following day.

I would have to say that I'm a night owl. I work nights mostly, so that's the time that I'm very familiar with. I get sleepy during the day and when it's time to call it a day, I'll rush through my work. But skiving time has always been the best, and sometimes when I need to rest up, but I'm still logging in for a few minutes in myLot..

I'm definitely a night owl, though I still have to wake up early in the mornings. I find myself more productive when I work late at night. Especially when I do webdesign, the inspiration doesn't really come until the clock hits 10pm.

I consider myself a night owl because I am comfortable working at night. I would be fruitful at night maybe because of less disturbance. I always feel sleepy during daytime.

I am also a night owl. I was never and never would be an early bird. I hate to wake up early. But I have no choice, since I have to go to work every day. I am forced to wake up early every day. That is why on weekends I always sleep past midnight and wake up around lunchtime.

Hi Rallon. I consider myself as an early bird. Because even though I stay up late sometimes, I still wake up early in the morning. I guess it's my body clock. I am more productive in the morning than at night. I'm usually exhausted by night so I just lay in bed and wait for sleep to come. :-)

I tend to stay up really late at night, especially when I am working on or reading something really interesting. I am so wrapped up in what I am doing that I tend not to want to go to bed. Often times I've looked out the window, only to see the sun come up, and then wondered where the heck the night went. LOL

Generally, I'm a night owl. I will stay up and watch the sunrise before going to bed more often than I will naturally awake in time to see the sun come up. Most of my friends are either natural night owls or work nights as well, so we tend to do stuff on our off time that has us living like vampires, waking up in the afternoon to start the 'day' and going to bed a little before dawn.

Hi rallon,
I'm a night owl. I tend to stay up late just doing things I like like surfing the net, reading or watching tv. I'm not a morning person, I find it hard to get up early in the morning. I usually wake up around 10-11am. But if I absolutely need to wake up early, I just set my alarm to do so.
