Summertime is coming to town

Sounds wonderful! One of my favorites is a fruit flavored drink with chunks of aloe vera floating in it. It comes in several yummy flavors. Among my favorites are pineapple and coconut. It is made in Korea, but the only place I can buy it is the Mexican grocery store.

I love summer mainly because I love swimming or going to the beach. I also love eating cold food or those that are in season. I eat ice cream or drink frappe even when it's raining so hard but I really get to enjoy them a lot during summer. I also look forward to eat frozen desserts and 'halo-halo'.

I'm in the states, Alabama to be exact and it's been cold here lately. A few days ago, it went up in the 60s but today, it was down in the 40s and very windy, brrrrrrr! It's supposed to go up to 48 tomorrow. Tomorrow is my birthday and I bought myself a birthday cake tonight. You asked me what I wanted. I want some birthday cake! The cake I bought is yellow with white icing and red roses on top. It looks yummy! Kathy.

Yah Summer time is coming, its going to be hot in Delhi as well. Presently its pleasant,but soon it will be hot, sweaty and hot,everyone would be interested in cold chillid water,soft drink with lots of ice.The bad part is dust during this period.Otherwise one must enjoy the weather with chilled fruites with ice cream of your choise.

Halo-halo on the side walk are tempting especially in a very hot weather. Sad to say I am not allowed to eat street food especially halo-halo. Maybe I can make one at home. You just remind me of mais con yelo too. I like that better than halo-halo.

Really? You're very lucky then. Here it's snowing today, and it's hard to feel that it's spring, which is still a month away. But I can't wait for those warmer days!

I'd like to have the same problem as you right now... it's way too cold here to think about ice cream. A snow storm just blew in and I'm chilled to the bone. Nice cup of hot chocolate with whip cream is what I'm sipping on.

i do love halo halo too. but sometimes i get to lazy to go out and buy for it is really very hot outside. my wife do fruit shakes which is very refreshing as well, and sometimes milk shakes. smoothies. we buy fruits when we go to market and we have ice always on the freezer. so halo halo is okay but we havea few more variety that can make us feel refreshed in this hot weather

in my place ist so hot too. when you walk at the street at the afternoon you feel that you are sweating a lot. well me i want to drink water only without ice. because if im going to get ice cream and halo halo i will feel more thirsty.

Well, a nice cool swimmingpool and some iced tea, is just what i need after this hot and mad day. TATA.

ya its start to get hotter and hotter day by day . the all good winter is over . i am not feeling to go out in the day time especially in the hot sun . the main reasion is the aweat i get . in most of the most of the situations i fel that it will be niece if i get some cold water . but i would like to have some cold fresh juice or some cool drink in the summer . .

Well, summer is not yet here in India in all her blazing glory. We are now going thru spring time and this weekend India will celebrate Holi, the festival of colours which marks the onset of spring and blooming of flowers everywhere. Its lovely time really, the harshness of winter is gone yet the sun is not scorching yet while a gentle wind further makes the atmosphere balmy. Its from the end of March that we will be having real summer and then of course all hell will break loose…we all will run for our watermelons and coconut water, ice-creams and faluda, cold drink bottles will fly off the rack and AC sales will soar LOL

Yeah, it sure is getting hotter already. I hate summers specially cause I tend to sweat a lot, and it's just really irritating. Though I love love going to the beach. And during summer, the halo halo stalls are like mushrooms, just popping up everywhere. I love eating halo halo! I like mine with less kaong, more Nata, more ube and leche flan and more a lot of ice and milk! This is making me crave for halo halo!!
