Do you believe that people can be so evil?

I watched this show too. Did you see the one where they cut up the girls body and put it in their fridge? Creepy! I don't know why people act like this. I think they must have had bad childhoods or been abused by someone or have a chemical imbalance. I think there's got too be something wrong with them. Otherwise, they wouldn't do this. It's not normal human behavior. I don't understand it, and I'm glad I don't have to struggle with overcoming it. I get mad sometimes but that's as far as it goes. I only hit someone twice in my life. Four times if you count using my chair to hit people. But, all those people deserved it, and it's not like I cut them up.

Of course I believe it, because in the examples you stated above, and in many others, it's been proven that people actually CAN be that evil. As for the woman who made the children sick, that condition is called Munchausen syndrome by proxy (sp?) Munchausen syndrome is when people do it to themselves to gain attention, but by proxy is when they do it to others to gain attention.

Sadly, I do believe it. There are too many documented cases of people doing evil things for me not to...

Yes I believe people can be evil. I look at the news everyday and there is so much evil going on that it scares me. Children being molested, people being murdered. And the sad thing about it these crimes are being committed and the criminal feels as though their lives is suppose to go on as usual. Yes, people are very evil.

People can be so evil. Even not by killing others. They pretend to befriend you and steal all that you have. I hope that God will bring justice to the victims.

Hi ronald, Yes, I'm sure these things happen and they are more common than we know. I often wonder what causes people to do such things? We have to remember that only a fraction of such people are caught and brought to justice. It was probably more common a hundred years ago because very few would have been caught back then. It is becoming more and more clear that people that we least expect often commit terrible crimes. I think that it has to stem from experiences in childhood as there are good and bad in everyone. One thing is certain, people who do such things have very unhappy lives, perhaps someday we will be able to find the cause. Blessings.

I believe people can be so evil, and be alot more evil!! haha =D I myself is one evil guy!! haha =D Most humans have some evil thoughts in them, and no matter how well groomed, or well taught we are, we tend to plot something inside our mind, just that we din carry it in actions ^_^ After all, humans only live for themselves.. When the time comes for only one survivor allowed, who will choose to die?? Nobody.. haha =D

Hi Ronald, It is good you bring this up about women being so evil as normally all we hear about is the serial men killers, but yes for some reason there are women who can be as evil as you say-looking at it psychologically as most do in the force etc though it is normally something that has happened to the woman in her childhood or teenage ie that has been so traumatic it causes them to kill and that goes for most murderers- men as well LoLo

I have seen a lot of television shows that show men and women as heartless evil people that will kill anyone even children without a second thought and it is sad, but I believe people can be that evil since everyone has the ability to be good or bad,and I think those people have embraced the devil,and condemned themselves to the underworld because they sold their souls to the devil,and I wish everyone believe in God,and I know I do stupid things,and I do bad things,and I make mistakes,but I always ask God for forgiveness because I want to join my maker in heaven one day,and I want to be there with my family and my wife.

Hi ronaldinu, people these day are very agreesive and they are not scared of the law or anything, this society I think is evil anyway so when people do things they don't think its bad and don't have any guilt for their wrong doings, the goverment shout bring back copral punishment and hanging, something should be done for these evil people. Yes, I do.We have real evidences of it.Sometimes I can't force myself to watch these documentaries.

People who do such things probably are not right in their minds. Or maybe they are really angry for the way they feel thay've been treated. The reasons can be different. The nurse maybe didn't fully realize how dangerous it was for the babies and she was blinded by the need to feel like she was an hero. And the wife maybe was misused,abused verbally, or maybe the husband cheated on her. People (if they are not sick) don't kill or put other people's in danger with no reasons, so I can say some people get mean because they can be brought to be mean, but even then it does not give them the right to be mean to other people.

Horrible, horrible evil woman. Yes, I do believe there are such people in the world. It's frightening to think about it, but we do have to be careful who we entrust with our children.

Oh, yes! I think it's in human nature to be cruel and evil. Every time people get in a situation where they can't be charged for their deeds the cruelty comes out - look at wars. Atrocities happen during wars that have nothing to do with the actual war, just because people can't be held responsible...

Yeah, I've watched that show before, too. The woman that killed and butchered her husband was something else. But the one who tortured, starved and killed a young girl in her care, that one was the worst. It's horrible and shocking how evil and sick some people can be.

Yes I do belive people can be evil we see it all the time. Animals kill for food or protection. We (people) kill and torture and distroy and abuse for no reason. We hurt people to gain something for us that is not vital to stay alive to methat is evil.

The nurse thing is absolutely ruthless. Someone should put her out of her misery. In the case of the woman who killed her hubby? It could be a long story really. They should dig deeper into that. You know there are cases where women can be provoked into doing anything out of fear and misery. There was once a case of a woman who killed her husband too in our country. The hubby was well known to be a good person. But secretly behind the doors of their house the wife was beaten everytime. Deeper investigation found out about her scars, wounds and other injuries. Which provoked the woman to take some action because she could no longer take the beatings of the madman, her wealthy and good natured husband as known in society. When people found out about it which was too late. They couldn't believe it. No one knows what seeming good people do in the privacy of their homes. That's why sometimes there is more to some story than we already know. You can't judge a person by the mask he wears everyday.

Being evil is a subjective matter. What looks evil to you, might not be so for me. Again, dramatization of any action just to make it look evil should not be our sole criteria of passing a judgement. The exaamples you have quoted do fall in the category of evil actions but I have come across more sinister situations which would look like a child's play (not toddler's play, sic)if you ever come across those situations.
