My son & his family are leaving sun. for the Bahama's. TODAY when he went to pick up my grandson at daycare my grandson's little best friend come running up to him & ask him what time were they leaving sun.My son ask him where they w2ere going. He said to the " Ballamamas" that my grandson had ask him to go w/him. Do u think they'll still be best friends now or will my son just be the dirty dog that told him he couldn't go. Aren't kids wonderful?

Small kids are really adorable and at that young age they too know how to find a best friend. I am so sorry for his best friend who can only hope that he is in the trip with your grandson. How sad.

LOL. That is so cute. Kids can say and do the cutest things. I hope they do become friends. I am not sure how the kids these days will actually react to being told NO. Some take it well and some don't.

Kids are cute. I am sure that they will still be friends when your grandson gets back. I hope your son helps him pick out a special gift while they are gone, or maybe some shells or some memento of the trip.

Hi Jo! Oh how I miss having kids! Now this isn't a pity party but gosh, I do wonder why I could never have any. We do have our God kids during the summer months except for the past two years I miss them SO much! But we're suppose to get them this year providing their mother doesn't play games with us like she did last year and found out, we don't play games so she got fooled! She kept telling us that she was going to bring them up on such and such a day and then calls to say she doesn't have the money for gas and sets another date and again the same ole story. All it was was a ruse to get money from us and it wasn't going to happen because we've helped her before with LOTS of different things for the kids and then she GAVE AWAY the twin bed frames that WE SENT to her! THAT was the LAST straw, no more buying unless the kids are here with us. We'll buy them clothes when they're HERE with us and they can take them home to wear too. Now they do get $30. each for their birthdays and something for Christmas but other than that, they don't get anything until they come here. Anyway, maybe one day we'll adopt. What ever God has in mind for us to do.....

Cat, u would be a wonderful motherr, i have no doubt. I'm so sorry u didn't have children of your own.I hope u do get to to have your godkids this summer. I remember the hassle u had w/their mother last year. Can't think too much of her using her kids like that. she really doesn't deserve to have them. I have never understood why people like her & worse can have all these kids & someone like u didn't have any. i can not stand to hear the way children are treated, molested & killed by all the freaks in the world. Hope u have a great monday. hugs, jo

would that be far from here, the ballamas? i guess that even how long they will be far away from each other, they will still be best friends when they come to meet again.

oh i just so love listening to children talk. i think thats why i get on so well with them because i tend to ask them questions and really listen. i often know things they like and want before the parents. i bet you are the same. i think the other kid will figure its your sons the dirty dog

Oh yes, kids are really wonderful. Maybe they will still be best friends. They have a good heart that sometimes I wish I also have. LOL! They are too innocent and adorable. I'm sure when they are grown ups they will still remember each other. Like me I still remember my best friends eventhough we lost our communications.

This is so cute, Jo! Yes, I think they still will be best friends. I'm sure you know this but when children get in a fuss or fight, they are so quick to forgive and forget. I wish some adults would be the same way. I hope your son and his family have a great time in the Bahamas. I took a cruise down there in 1990 and I really enjoyed it. Kathy.

YOU will be one "sad" Bobo...your little man, away for how long? 2 weeks? Whatever will you do? That will make a big "hole" in your life! As I know the highlight of your days...and especially Saturday mornings is his games! Guess we will just have to see a lot more of you here on myLot, so your friends can help you thru this lonely time. I think the most joyous times, with TJ were the times that we travelled..to sun, sand & great beaches. The expression..."Ballamama's" is TOO cute! From the time TJ was 2, 'til about 9...I worked under the table for a girlfriend that managed a apartment building in downtown Oahu...and TJ was always going to "HUHU"! E-mail me anytime...or CALL COLLECT, you have all my numbers! HUGZ & LUV!

Oh yes, as long as he brings something back for the little boy! You should have told them to come to Jamaicamamas and then I could have met them. I do hope that they have a wonderful time and that they get some sun! Rachel is still in Atlanta and says that it is so cold still. The USA has had a dreadful winter with so much snow and ice. I would find it unbearable now as I am used to this climate. Many blessings

I bet rachel is longing for some of y'alls good weather. The u.s.a. had had a bad winter & still are in some places. It's pretty here today but still cold. Thanks for your response. Happy weekend to u. hugs.
