Do we get paid to make searches on Mylot now?

I get rewarded yesterday twice and I use the search bar before i make a new discussion and it say I been rewarded but when I search the same topic a warning comes out that their is a suspicious activity so IU think searching should only be done when necessary searching only the keyword once and not searching the same keyword multiple times is not allow such as when you return back then search again is not allow in the system.

I have also been away from myLot for awhile so I have no idea if we are paid for searches. Am anxious to follow this discussion to see the answer. Would be a great way to make some extra income on myLot. Have a great weekend, carolbee

thanks for bringing it up, I haven't been on mylot in ages either and I knew nothing about it.

I have not heard anything like that in here. I fairly am a regular visitor of this site and so far this is the first time I heard that they are offering to pay us using the search box in here. I have used it for several times but I do not know if they are paying me that. If they are they would have informed everybody about it but so far I have not received any official statements regarding that.

One mylotter commented that she had gotten extra money for the searches, but some other people have said they have been searching a lot, and have not received the notification that they were rewarded monetarily for their searching with the mylot toolbar. Apparently, they actually let you know, they don't just add it to your regular earnings without telling you. Or so I've heard...

Hi stephcjh I didn´t realize that we could actually get paid for doing searches here. Thanks for bringing up the subject, otherwise I probably wouldn´t have found out about this as I haven´t been here too often lately. Even if we just get ocasional payment for searching I think it´s still a good thing. Saves me from leaving the page if I need to do searches.

Hi stephjh, this is another incentive mylot introduces for the the benefit of members here. When you have done few searchers, mylot will reward you appropriately. I have so far been rewarded three times.

Welcome back, I had been away myself up until about a month ago, right before the changes did occur. Supposedly there is supposed to be random rewards for using the search engine here at mylot. I have used it several times, but I haven't seen anything from it either.

It is my understanding that we do from other comments but to get the best response to that question is to actually e-mail mylot administration that way all your answers will be given to you successfully....

I get rewarded about every other day for doing searches. I use the search engine a lot because I'm always looking stuff up and looking at websites I belong to. A pop up box will come up in one of your searches that will congratulate you and let you know what your reward is. Happy Mylotting!

I'm sure someone has told you already but, Yes we do get paid randomly I would say for searches. It isn't every search. Like I searched 10 times before I received an award. My reward was $0.06 it was a very nice surprise and I think it awarded instantly and it does show on my earnings earned as well. So have fun search away but don't abuse it. That is the warning we got anyhow..

As you well know now, we do get paid for some of the searching we do on here if it chooses to pay us. I try to use this search engine from time to time to see if I get lucky but many times, it seems few and far between.

I do not know if we get paid like for each search, but periodically you get an alert and a bonus for using the search engine. I think that if you game the system and do not use the engine in a "natural" or normal manner you will get in trouble. It is mostly a convenience for us so that we do not have to log out when we need to search stuff on the internet. It also seems to be working better as an engine to search the discussions. I like it.

Yup, that's right. I've been awarded 3 time so far and that's just awesome. Just use the search naturally like you would want to for the tabs shown and it's actually quite fun too. Just that the search results are not that varied yet. I think it will expand with time..

Here in the UK and maybe the rest of the World outside of North America the web search box doesn't work. So we will have to stick the tried and tested alternatives. The discussion search works though and of course we all do check to make sure that we're not posting an identical or similar discussion don't we? LOL. Shakes head as he remembers the times that he didn't!
