A couple of days ago i was at the mall and as i was riding the esculater somebody infront of me lost there balanced and fell pushing me down the esculater.. i had so many feelings rushing to me at once i wanted to punch the moron in the face for making me fall, cry because many people where laughing and i wished that the ground would eat me alive so i didnt have to be there at the moment. i did notice that when some people fall in public the just laugh ,but i cant seem to do that.. How do you react when you fall or trip in public?

Hello there, I think what you had was just an accident.Don't take it too seriously!People like to laugh at the one who falls funnily in public.I don't think that's a bad habit. It just is the normal reaction inside the human.Their laughing means they care about unlucky falled one.So if I fall in the public,I will laugh at myself firstly.

thank god i have not been in such situations before . since it would be very shameful . but if i am in such a situation i will get up and walk out from place as soon as possible and i will not take up head up until i leave that place . i think there is nothing to laugh when people fall since its just a accident and we should just try to help them instead of laughing . its a poor attitude from the people . i feel sorry for you for being in such a situation dont worry about this and all .

i feel very uneasy and uncomfortable whenever i feel in public.. there are two types, when u fall like these, i feel very very uncomfortable, until someone give me a hand and lift me up, the later will result in much pain, if the all is severe.. The other fall is unconscious ..when i fall unconscious, i really don't know what happened to me, so i have nothing to do with, until somebody help me to get back to normal..

Well, once I fell on the stairs in front of a lot of people who were waiting for the bus. Some people helped me stand, and I was blushing like mad, and I wanted to cry, and wanted the earth to just open and swallow me. The guy who helped me whispered something like, It's gonna be okay, don't worry. So I stood up, and just walked again, didn't look at anybody until I was inside the bus, it was only then that I realized that my leg was bleeding and that I had a big gash on it. Hehehehe. It was so embarrassing!

Well, I was with my sister, but she was already on the bus when I fell, good thing she had lots of tissues that I was able to use to stoop the bleeding.

Hi ..I think I will just try to stand up again, check whether any injury , then I will clear the dirt on my body and tidy my clothes, then just walk away.... sometimes I think some people will help us to stand up, then we just say thank you and smile back to them. If they laugh at me instead of helping me, then I also will smile back embarrassing.

I was in college and was coming down a flight of steps at the main administration building. I missed a step and went crashing down the entire flight. When I hit bottom, I immediately jumped up and began looking around to see if anyone saw my "graceful" adventure. I wasn't concerned that I might be hurt...I should have been. The steps were concrete and there were plenty of them. All I was concerned about was whether anyone saw and were they laughing...

Here when they see someone fall, the reaction isn't to laugh at first, at least not until the person who fall laughs too. i have fallen in public three times, twice in college, and once at the movie theater while going down the steps - on my birthday! Yes I felt embarrassed but I chose to just laugh it off, so people would not feel awkward and just laugh with me too. The first time I fell at school though, it was a parade and I was surrounded by friends and classmates so only people who knew me saw me. Haha. In the movies, I was with the boyfriend and he was carrying my nephew so he wasn't able to catch me in time to prevent my fall.

You've reached the queen of making a fool of herself. I am probably one of the most clumsy people that has ever walked this earth. Now, when I fall in a public place, which has happened to me from time to time, I try to ignore the fact that I've fallen and I go on about myself as if nothing had happened. This is nothing that is any big deal to me. Though I am somewhat embarrassed about what has happened, I go on like it is not a big deal and I think that there is less reaction from the people around me than if I made a deal about it happening.

it happened to me once and of course no one laugh at me coz they saw i was hurt and they even want to help. so what i did, i just smile and continue walking like nothing happened even if i already feel pain and so when i got home thats the only time i will cry for pain.

How many of them among the public is your known acquaintances? If you go deeper into the event you'll see that it's only the absence of the other person who could have taken part with you at the fall event.I'm not joking. It's always good to fall with a group. That's what friends do.When you are kicked, they are there with you to be kicked. So my advise is to take your friends with you whenever you go to some place like a shopping mall.

Well if that would happen to someone while I was there, I would simply help them. I never laughed at people who get to hurt themselves because of stuff that aren't in our control. I don;t understand why people can laugh at people that needs help. I think these people are just to harsh and just don't have anything to do with their lives. I would feel really embarrassed of course, but oh well, accidents happen.

I do not show any emotions and get up cool as if nothing as happened cheating the stupid onlookers who are ready to laugh. It is my fall and it is my pain in my butt and the morons haven't got any business with it to laugh.Accidents like these do happen. One has to shrug it off and go on.There is nothing to be ashamed of it and the life goes on.

I laugh, it's usually my clumsiness that causes the fall, no sense in getting angry. Now, if someone were to deliberately push me down, then I'd be angry but an accident, especially if no one is harmed, is only worthy of laughter. Laughter gets me through many frustrating times.

Hey H3idmich! First of all, just be thankful that you didn't really get hurt! I know that you probably felt embarrassed, but that kind of thing happens to all of us at sometime of other and there is nothing to be upset about! I am always tripping and falling in public! I am just glad when I don't break anything! I have broken my foot, shoulder and toes! So, it is no big deal and after the accident is over you will soon forget it and you won't ever see those people again so there is no reason to be embarrassed! Forget about! Be thankful, like I said that you weren't seriously injured!

That's quiet embarrassing but i will still be cool i think unless its really a bad fall,if just a simple fall or not really a bad one,I will pretend nothing, stand like nothing happened, lol, like I just stepped on slippery floor, and saying its kinda wet here..lol..then walk away from that area as quickly as ever. Happy Lotting!

I just recently took a tumble in a gas station parking lot. Well, I guess it was more of a...bam? I went down so fast I hit my head on the pavement. I didn't even know what hit me. In my defense it had just snowed. Nobody laughed, though. The reaction was more ghasps than any thing. Probably because I went down sooo fast and hard. Laughing at some one that fell down an escalator is really mean. Those things are dangerous, and you could have gotten stuck or something! Those people were jerks.
