Im proud to be a Filipina also. there you can find friendly people.. Places most visited especially this summer is the BORACAY Island in AKLAN (that was my place)when you go there, its like you go to a place where every country has representative, white sand clean water. Every body all over is just there. Philippines is a place we can say a very beautiful, warm-hearted loving people.Puerto Princesa under ground river is the one of the top natural attractions in the philippines. TherE's a lot of beaches and beautiful places you'll find in philippines...

If you are going to Palawan and Puerto Princesa City please do not fail to see the underground river (entry of the Philippines to the search for the 7th wonders of Nature) in Puerto and the beautiful islands of El Nido, Palawan. I tell you, its worth the trip.

Hello :) I'm a Filipina too and I agree that there are many beautiful places here in the Philippines. :) It has been my dream to visit the whole Philippines first before the other countries unfortunately since I live here in Luzon, I have only been around the beautiful places here in Luzon. One of my favorites is CamSur wherein I tried wakeboarding for the first time and met the world's greatest wakeboarders as well. My second favorite is also Baguio.. during my childhood years we usually spend our summers on Baguio :) My third favorite is Subic wherein there are also beautiful places to see :) I'd also love to go to other places and I plan also to invest in traveling when I already have a job :D

Hi internikk. A verygood question from you. Like you I am a Filipino too. Oh, this is for real---Philippines is rich with its natural resources with hospitable people all over the archipelago. I live here in Mindanao, I almost enjoyed all the beauty spots here. And how I wish to see the wonder of that underground river in Puerto Princesa City---it must be a paradise. I have seen that on the nominees of the world new 7 wonders. In fact I have voted and prayed many times before it could be one of the new wonders.
Happy mylotting!!!

It's our pride FILIPINOS to be included in the New7Wonders my friend. Perhaps 7th place will do. Do you have any update about this? When I tried to look at them, there are chosen 7, unfortunately, the underground river was not there. I am a little bit confused. There are still nominees at the bottom, for how long is voting over?
I will try to surf again.... and how do you called that underground river???

It is called the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River or underground river. We used to call it St. Paul Subterranean River. Voting is still on for the 28th finalists including the underground river. It is a worldwide 1 billion votes campaign to choose the New7wonders of nature. You can visit www.new7wonders.com for more info.

I'm a Filipino too and proud to be one. Irregardless of what other race say about the Philippines, we have a lot to be proud of our country, its culture, places and people. We are the only predominantly Christian country in Asia and the Christian faith instilled in us is mirrored on how everyone unite in times of calamities. We have beautiful beaches and scenery. We have a Manny Pacquiao, recognized as the number 1 boxing champ not only by Filipinos, and, the latest is Efren PeƱaflorida the CNN hero of 2009. But our greatest pride is, how Filipinos value family ties, where, it is common to find a member of a family sacrificing his own happiness and ambitions to give way for either his children, siblings or parents welfare.
